installed properly
8 Length under test filled with clean water from the lowest point in Y N NA
order to ensure the complete elimination of air. Air has been fully
expelled
9 Pipeline pressure test with the potable water to a pressure of Y N NA
1.05 MN/m2 (150 psi) or specified. Pressure maintained for one
(1) hour without any drop
10 Leakage test carried out for 24 hours and reading taken at every Y N NA
30 minutes or as specified
11 Calculated pressure drop (leakage) is within allowable limit and Y N NA
approved
12 All pipelines tested for pressure and leakage test before the final Y N NA
connection
13 All valves, fire hydrants, air valves, connections, overcrossings Y N NA
and specials observed for any leaks
14 Both pressure and leak test carried out and recorded as per Y N NA
standard procedure/specification
15 Pipe pressured as per the requirements and witnessed by Water Y N NA
Services Control Unit (WSCU), DWS, PWD
