Dear Student,
Apologies for not sending the next activity promptly last week. My schedule at work
had been so hectic, I did not have the time to go over the outputs submitted in my email.
We are nearing the end of the first semester this School Year 2022-2023, and this
activity (Activity 6) will be your last output in my class, Laws and Trends in Education. For
your final activity, write another position paper which discusses these points:
1. Reduction of the subjects in early grades (Grades 1 to 3)
If you agree, what subjects do you propose should be taken up by early grade
learners? Explain elaborately.
If you believe that the subjects taken up by early grades now should be retained,
explain your reasons why.
2. Mandatory Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) in senior high school
Discuss the purpose/s of ROTC, determine its advantages and advantages, and your
take (stand) about ROTC as a basic requirement prior to senior high school graduation
3. Introduction of another (modified) curriculum for elementary and high school
learners
Are we ready for another curriculum in basic education? Why or why not?
