Dear Student,
Thank you for your submission of Activity 3 output.
Moving on to Activity 4, let us focus on the implementation of the 8-Week Learning
Recovery Curriculum in Region V, through the issuance of Regional Memorandum No. 104,
s. 2022.
(If you are not teaching Grades 1 to 3, which means you are teaching Grades 4-10, or
not teaching at all, you can interview a teacher in Grades 1 to 3 in order to answer the
following questions.)
1. What grade are you teaching (or the grade level being taught by the teacher you
interviewed), and how are the learners in your school grouped by section (homogenous or
heterogeneous) ?
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the groupings/sectioning of Grades 1-3
learners in your school?
3. What specific challenges were encountered in the following components of the Program:
a. training/orientation of Grades 1-3 teachers before the school opening
b. parent’s orientation
c. conduct of pre-test
d. use of lesson maps and worksheets
e. conduct of lessons
f. use of learning centers
4. Has the 8-Week Learning Recovery Curriculum helped the learners in your class? In what
ways?
5. What recommendations or suggestions can you give to enhance the implementation of
the 8-Week Learning Recovery Curriculum?
