3rd PTC GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Part I

Agenda:

1. STUDENT’S PERFORMANCE

Please be reminded that every student MUST submit all of his/her Learning Guides and Performance Task, since the
student’s academic performance will be based on how he/she answers the Learning Guides and the tasks he/she
performs. It means that the learner’s understanding of the lesson is assessed in written form, such as the activities that
they are answering on their LGs. Moreover, the performance tasks enable the students to demonstrate their knowledge
and skills, thus, assessing the integration of concepts by performing and/or producing evidence, such as projects.

If you happen to see that the student does not have a grade on a specific subject on the previous quarters, it means that
he/she has lacking requirements (i.e. Learning Guides and Performance tasks that haven’t submitted) that he/she needs
to comply on or before April 15, 2021 only.

2. QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADE 8 MSC (MODIFIED SCIENCE CURRICULUM)

With High Honors: A student who have no 85 below grades for Final and with General Average of 95 above are
automatically Qualified for Grade 8 MSC.

With Honors: A student who have no 85 below grades for Final and with General Average of 90-94 above are qualified
to take the Examination for Grade 8 MSC.

Note: The result of Qualified Students for Grade 8 MSC will be announced next School Year.

3. ENRICHMENT & REMEDIAL CLASSES

Following the Dep.Ed. Order #8, s. 2015, the MCPI strictly implements the remedial and enrichment classes to ensure
that every learner has bridged the gap and accomplished the necessary learning competencies and skills in a school year.

In line with this, the MCPI will offer classes in a six-week completion period that will start on May 17, 2021 until July
02, 2021, in order to address the student’s deficiencies encountered during the distance learning in the academic year
2020-2021.

Now, who will be the one to undergo remedial or enrichment classes?

FOR REMEDIAL CLASSES: A learner who receives a grade lower than 75 in any subjects must be given intervention
through remediation and must pass the said remedial classes to be promoted to the next grade level.

FOR ENRICHMENT CLASSES: As part of the learning continuity plan, DepEd schools may also after a six-week enrichment
class to the learners who.
1. Had a hard time focusing in their lessons in the previous S.Y.
2. Needed more time to understand the concepts.
3. Received low grades, (75-79 in any subjects)
4. Had no performance task/s in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th

The subject teachers for each grade level are the primary assessors based on the given qualifications of assessment of
learning. As stipulated in DepEd Order No. 13, s 2018 on the qualifications of the assessment of learning, the core basis
for a learner to be enrolled in either remedial or enrichment class are their “quarter grades”.

As of now, the subject teachers have identified students who are candidate for the remedial or enrichment classes. The
identified learners who have difficulties and deficiencies in complying the necessary standards shall be recommended to
take remedial or enrichment class based on the given pre-inclusion criteria before they can enroll and promoted to the
next grade level. (We already have an “initial” list of students who will undergo Enrichment and Remedial Classes.
Please see a separate announcement for the list of students).

IMPORTANT NOTE: The recommended learners for remedial and enrichment will be given until April 15, 2021 ONLY
to comply their performance standards. Subject teachers shall monitor the learners under this provision. In case of
learners’ failure, the adviser shall inform immediately the parents/guardians on the status of the learner.
Recommendation for the Final List of Students who shall undergo the Remedial or Enrichment Class shall be submitted
on April 20, 2021 by the Class Advisers.

3.a. MODE OF INSTRUCTION FOR THE REMEDIAL:

Those who will undergo remedial or enrichment class will be in a “blended learning”, which is a combination of our
“module” and “online” class. In order to fully assist learners’ needs in each subject component; they will be given
modules in scheduled date with an hour per subject of online class in a week. The schedule for this blended learning
shall start on May 17, 2021 and ends on June 25, 2021or July 2, 2021 depending on the learners’ enrolled subjects.

3.b. FEES:

Remedial Class: P 1, 260.00 per subject (Teacher’s Subject Fee: P1, 200.00 + Module per Quarter: P60.00)
Enrichment Class: P 1, 260.00 per subject (Teacher’s Subject Fee: P1, 200.00 + Module per Quarter: P60.00)
