Sub: Streamlining and simplification of SACFA procedures

With the rapid expansion of wireless networks, applications for SACFA clearance
are required to be submitted frequently. DOT WPC wing has desired examination of such
cases with reference to followings by the concerned circle so that SACFA members are
able to consider clearance of the proposals expeditiously.
1. Accurate coordinates taken by proper instruments
2. Proper identification with reference to existing/cleared site(s) nearby
3. Approximate distance and direction of the proposed location from the
existing cleared site.

In most cases, correlation with reference to an already cleared site may facilitate
the work of SACFA members. With a view to make the required information ever
available, following information should be promptly displayed at the site on a
metal/wooden/plastic board of size not less than 24 inch x 9 inch with black background
and white bold letters:
1. BSNL – site name
2. Geo-cordinate of the site
3. ID No. of SACFA clearance
4. Site clearance letter reference and date
5. Designation of the contact person and telephone number.

The compliance on the above in respect of all existing GSM sites may be ensured
within 30 days.
