THE PROPOSED PLAN/PROGRAMME FOR THE YEAR 2023

THE YEAR OF SPORADIC GROW

The Jesus Shield Minstrels are a group of believers who are passionate about God and who live a life
of worship, our sole aim is to minister the complete gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through
cooperate worship and special song ministrations. Worthy of note is that there will be no additional
program to what has been existing, we will only have additional processes and systems, we do not
want to be a team encumbered with too many activities, year 2023 we will be deliberate about the
growth of all Minstrels, none will be left behind.

The Choir Retreat – We propose to start the Year with a retreat for both the spiritual and social wellbeing of
the Minstrels, a choir that cares for each other sings better, listens to each other better and achieve great
things both physically and spiritually.

Proposed date for the Retreat is Saturday 11th February, 2023

General Day of Fasting and Prayers for the Minstrels – Every 2nd Saturday of the month we hold our
monthly prayer meeting. We meet to pray for at least one hour before the rehearsal for the day

Monthly Prayer Meeting for the Executive Council – members of the executive council are to come
together for at least once in a month for prayers and deliberations, the day is every 1st Saturday of the month
by 2:00 pm, progress made each month is reviewed during the meeting

Monthly Bible Study – every 1st Saturday of the month

Periodic Training Sessions – this will be carried out at least twice a month, it will be a hybrid approach
(both physically & virtually), training materials and seasoned trainers will be involved

MANDATE 2023 – each member of the team should learn at least one musical instrument, one of the
musicians has agreed to train at a very subsidized rate, we will be deliberate with this in 2023

PROPHETIC POWER WORSHIP – it’s a monthly worship and prophetic experience that holds every last
Saturday of the month by 10:00 am

SERVICE OF HYMNS & SPIRITUAL SONGS – It’s an annual Program in celebration of the Risen King.
Proposed date – Sunday 9th April, 2023

PRAISE GOD NIGERIA – It’s an annual program where the church comes together to appreciate God for
his mercy over our dear country Nigeria, we also intercede to God over the affairs of the nation.

This year’s edition comes up on Sunday, 1st October 2023 by 9:00 am

JOYOUS OUTBREAK 1.0 & 2.0 – We will put more effort in the marketing of the J.O1.0, FOR J.O 2.0
submission of songs is still on going, we will work extensively on fine tuning the lyrics and also start recording
this year

7 Days Prophetic Praise – It’s an end of year Thanksgiving program whereby a whole week is dedicated to
Praising the Almighty God.

Proposed Date Monday 18th – Sunday 24th December, 2023

CONCLUSION

“Now To him who by the action of his power that is at work within us is able to do superabundantly, far above
and above all that we dare ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, thoughts, hopes or dreams:
Unto him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians
3:20-21.

We believe by divine grace we will achieve all that has been stated above, our assignments in the church will
be delivered with precision and according to the Father’s will and purpose. We are also trusting that we will
receive all round support from the Pastorate and the entire church towards achieving our goals.
