1. Give a reflection about the first trip abroad and first home coming of Jose.

not less than 200 words.

I was impressed and motivated by Rizal's love for our country after reading about his life and travels. He
was able to travel and explore the world at an early age, which allowed him to learn about different
cultures and meet new people. Rizal knew how to live in a foreign nation. He was able to budget and
save for his expenses, and he also works part-time to supplement his income, making this one of the
obstacles of studying abroad. He spent his time outside the Philippines learning about and researching
the cultures and beliefs of the places he visited. His diary entries, in which he recorded his impressions
on culture and other topics, demonstrated this. He traveled to acquire more knowledge, values, and
experience, as well as to be more inspired, which aided him in writing his books and poetry, which were
written with the blood of the heart, and so the heart speaks as well. The novel was lauded by Filipinos,
who admired its content and were greatly moved and awakened by its exquisite truth.

Rizal was able to travel for his studies at a young age. Rizal's journey begins with a course to Spain. Aside
from studying, he was also on a covert assignment. This aim was to study the lives and cultures of
European nations, as well as their languages and customs, industries and commerce, and governments
and laws, in order to prepare himself for the monumental job of freeing his enslaved people from
Spanish tyranny. When he goes to Spain, it makes him want to travel even more. He travels more and
more to hone his traveling skills, which will become apparent as he matures and expands his horizons.
He had no idea that his last homecoming would turn into his final year of service in the Philippines. His
trial exemplifies Spanish inequity and misrule. His case was prejudged, and he was deemed guilty before
the trial even began. The court did not render justice to him, but instead accused and condemned him.
It accepted all charges and testimony against him while dismissing all counter-arguments and facts.
Rizal's death is comparable to the loss of one of our wings. Because we have lost one of our greatest
heroes, yet it is because of him that we have today's freedom. We should be proud of Rizal every day,
and every time we raise our flag, we will be reminded of how he battled for us and for the country.
