MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
This Agreement made and entered into this 22nd day of August 2022 in the City of
Masbate, Philippines, by and between:

WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, Republic Act 8525, otherwise known as “An Act Establishing the
Adopt-A-School Program and Providing Incentives Therefore and for Other Purposes”, was
enacted to encourage private companies to assist in the delivery of better quality education to
public schools in the country, particularly in the poverty-stricken provinces;
WHEREAS, the Department of Education issued DepEd Order No. 24, s. 2018 titled
Institutionalization of the Brigada Eskwela Program or the National Schools Maintenance
Week (NSMW) institutionalized the conduct of Brigada Eskwela Program in all schools
nationwide to engage all education stakeholders to contribute their time, efforts and resources
in ensuring that public schools are all set for the opening of classes;
stakeholders that complement the Department of Education efforts to ensure quality basic
education;
WHEREAS, the FIRST PARTY believes that one of the best ways to complement
the department’s efforts to ensure quality basic education for learners is to strengthen the
implementation of Home Learning Space, it aims to bring together education partners and
stakeholders to help the learners and their families create a quality and conducive learning
space at home to answer the challenges imposed in implementing the Basic Education
Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP). This activity shall continue as a year-round initiative
under the Brigada Eskwela Plus consistent with relevant provisions under DepEd Order No.
100, s. 2009 or the Launching Brigada Eskwela Plus and Directing Selected Public Schools to
Volunteer in this Community Involvement in Education Initiative;
WHEREAS, the STAKEHOLDERS has extended its full support and agreed to the
goals and objectives of Brigada Eskwela and assist the FIRST PARTY in the
implementation of the program by taking active participation and involvement in the
activities as stipulated in this Memorandum of Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises and the
terms and conditions herein set forth, the parties hereby agree as follows:
The project shall be known as “Project ATM (Aralan sa Tahanan Mo) 2.0”.
The project aims to bring together education partners and stakeholders to help
the learners and their families create a quality and conducive learning space at
home to answer the challenges imposed in implementing the Basic Education
Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) in preparation for the conduct of face-to-
face classes for School Year 2022 – 2023.
The project beneficiaries of PROJECT ATM 2.0 shall be the Learners, Parents
of Aroroy National High School which shall be communicated through official
letter.
The equivalent in peso of the volunteer man hours which is the time spend by
the STAKEHOLDERS in performing Brigada Eskwela activities and the
amount of donations to be donated by the STAKEHOLDERS if there are
shall be determined upon execution of the Deed of Donation as applicable.
Section 6 Capacity and Authorization. The parties herein warrant that they have the
capacity, power and requisite authorization to enter into this Agreement.
Section 7 Separability Clause. Should any part of this Agreement be judicially declared
null and void, such nullity shall not affect the validity of the remaining
provisions hereof.
Section 8 Breach of Contract. The violation or omission of any of the provisions of this
Agreement shall be ground for the cancellation or rescission of the same
without need for legal or court action.
