To attain the maximal communication outcome, the board needed to attain those
concerns and questions which will be arising in employee’s mind specially the one who
would be receiving the layoff like, “how long this layoff is going to be?”, “will we be
welcoming back if the situation would be better?”, “will we be getting any
remuneration?”, etc.

b) To which purpose of communication would you need to attend?

The purpose of communication would be mostly regarding the 20% of the employees
who would receive layoff due to the uncertainties like global pandemic to avoid
company’s future trouble.

The message must be aimed towards 20% of the employees who would receive layoff.

decision to employees?

The content our strategy should be focused on the situation which the company will be
facing and eliminating as soon as possible to sustain and to plan the draft which will
come first and followed by what. Also, the company is anticipating the situation so that
we will be calling our employees back and will start hiring again.
