GENERAL RULES AND CRITERIA

 
 
 
GENERAL RULES:
 
1.Only 1 male and 1 female candidate will be allowed to join per school.
The candidates will be judged according to the following areas:
1.Production number
2.Talent
3.Christmas Attire
4.Question and Answer

2.The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

3.In case of untoward incident that may happen to any title holder (e.g., disqualification due to valid
reasons), the next in rank will assume the title.
4.The Pageant committee shall have the final decision regarding the contest guidelines, activities,
and production treatment of the pageant.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:
 

1.The candidate must be a Permanent/Regular teacher under cluster 2.

GROUNDS FOR DISQUALIFICATION:

1.Failure to comply with the rules set.

BEST IN TALENT:

1. Performance must have a minimum of two (2) minutes and a maximum of three (3) minutes. One
minute will be allowed for the preparation.  Time starts from the first movement of the candidate.

2.One point shall be deducted from the judges’ score every 10 seconds excess in the allotted
maximum time.

3.No back-up dancers will be allowed during the performance.

4.Candidates who will use music for performance should submit their tapes or CDs to the committee
in-charge.

5.Vulgar words/terms and indecent gestures are not allowed. The attire must justify the chosen
talent.

6.In case of a tie, point system will be applied. In case of a further tie, the Chairman of Board of
Judges will break the tie.

CHRISTMAS ATTIRE

1.Candidates must wear Christmas costumes.

2.Headdress is allowed if it does not exceed the size of 24x24 inches

3.Back dress should be not more than 24 inches height and 24 inches width from the thorax.

1.The Minor Awards (for male and female candidate) will be the following: Best in Production Attire,
Best in Talent, best in Christmas Attire and Best in Answer.
2.The Major Award will be Mr. and Ms. Cluster 2
3.The result will be based on a ranking system.
4.In case of tie, the chairman of the board of judges will break the tie.
5.Once the winners are proclaimed, it is considered final and irrevocable.
