7 Basic Parts of Project Proposal

Project Summary - A project summary is a one-page document that is a part of every


project plan or proposal. It is obvious that it is one of the most important documents in
project management as it's the first thing that the reviewer is mostly likely to read. A
project summary after all, your best opportunity to grab readers' attention and show
them of the excellence of your project.

Introduction - The introduction of a project proposal shows the brief concept of your
given study about what is your product based on. Given on the introduction make sure
that it is interesting to know about your product make it creative and interesting to know.

Solution - In the solution shows what is the project plan and what is the possible way
exploit the opportunity of your given proposal. It should be listing all the problem
statements that can affect your given project proposal.

Assumptions - In this section it is always a good idea to write all the important and
basic points in every proposal. Because in development phase it is better to know all the
assumptions to considered what should be improve on the project and some way to
make it better.

Out of Scope - Anything that does not fall inside the scope of a project is generally said
to be out of scope. It is out of scope if a client demands anything that is not covered by
the defined scope.

Appendix - On this section tells all the attached papers to support the project proposal.

Case Studies – It is important to find or share the case studies of a similar kind of a
project proposal which would done in the past. This can give a great impact to the client
subject matter and make a substantial contribution to winning the project over others.
