Case Study
Amphi company is manufacturing Metal Parts located near to Rambhori village @
1.0 Km.
Munja school is located near to factory @ 1.5 kms.
Actual Delivery performance to customers is 55 %. Internal schedule adherence
is 100 % as per documented information / MIS.

Heat Treatment process is in company campus located @ 200 meters from

machine shop so that to & fro of material is done through trollies by employees
only. Hard parts machining productivity is 55 %.

Customer complaints are 5 Nos./ month on dents and scratches. COPQ is 2.5 %
against target of 1.0 %. COPQ only includes internal rejection. During visit it has
observed that material is lying on shopfloor before heat treatment without tag.

Mr. Sen is appointed at heat treatment process (HT-01) who has joined in the
morning who can’t hear and speak.
Work instructions are displayed with near to HT shop with silver frame in English
language.
No new business in previous 2 years .
Customer satisfaction is not known to Mr. Nagesh who is working in Machine shop.
Absenteeism is high in heat treatment shop due to health issue and are suffering
from Stomach & Chest pain. Employee satisfaction in conducted in machine shop
only and which is 94 %.
