Quick Guide to Google Home association with Candy compatible washing machine/washer dryer
This quick guide explains the steps you need
to take to associate a Google Home device
with your Candy compatible washing machine/
washer dryer.
Enrollment Appliance
If you have not already done so, carry out the
enrollment procedure for your Candy washing
machine/washer dryer through the Candy
simply-Fi App.

If you have not already done so, carry out the
configuration procedure for your Google Home
device.

ACCOUNT LINKING (association between Candy washing machine/washer dryer and Google Home)

• Download the Google Assistant App from
the Store (available for both Android and iOS).
• Open it and, if required, enter your Gmail
address and password, making sure they
are the same as the ones you entered in the
Google Home App.
NOTE – If your Gmail address and password
are not required, the Google Assistant App has
already recovered the Gmail account you use
on your smartphone.
How to interact with your Candy washing machine/washer dryer through Google Home
Each time you want to interact through Google
Home, you must:
• Pronounce the activation phrase:
“Ok Google, talk to Candy simply-Fi”.
• Wait for the vocal assistant’s answer.
• Formulate your request.
Example:
Ok Google, talk to Candy simply-Fi

Click on the compass icon at the top right
(“Explore” menu) located at the top right of the
Google Assistant dialog window.
NOTE – The Google app may be subject to
changes that do not depend on Candy.
• You can give commands:
Start the cotton cycle
• You can ask for suggestions:
How do I remove chocolate stains?
• You can request information on the state
of the appliance:
How long until the cycle ends?

Type the words “Candy simply-Fi” in the search
bar.
Select “Candy simply-Fi” among the search
results.
How to remove the Account Linking
To remove the account linking carried out
previously:
• Open the Google Assistant App.
• Click on the icon with the compass at the top
right (“Explore” menu).
• Scroll to the bottom and click on
“Your actions”. In the “linked” menu, click on
“Talk to Candy simply-Fi”.
• Scroll down the screen to the word “Account
linking” and click on the word “unlink” next to
it, and then tap again on “unlink”.
Click on the word “LINK”.
FINAL NOTES
Google Home configuration
• Plug in Google Home.
• Download the Google Home App from the Store
(available both on Android and iOS).
• Open the Google Home App and enter the
address and password of the Gmail account. If you
are not prompted to provide this information, the
Google Assistant App has already recovered the
Gmail account you use on your smartphone.
• Be sure to connect your smartphone or tablet
to the same Wi-Fi network you used to enroll your
Candy appliances.
• Open the Google Home App and follow the
Google Home device setup wizard.

Notes and Requirements
NOTE – Interaction of Candy appliances with Google
Home is available only for some models. Verify in the
settings of the Candy simply-Fi App that your model
is compatible.

Enter the email and password you used
on the Candy simply-Fi App during the
enrollment process for your washing
machine/washer dryer.
It is now possible to interact with your
washing machine/washer dryer through
Google Home.

NOTE – If you have more than one Candy
appliance associated with the same simply-Fi
profile, the Google Home association process will
be different and will have to be repeated. Follow
the instructions of the specific model.
NOTE – To manage your appliances, through
Google Home, in your language, check that your
language is supported by both Talking Candy and
Google Home.
NOTE – Make sure that the language of your
phone is the one with which you want to interact
with Google Home and communicate with your
Candy appliances.
NOTE – You can’t interact with your appliances
because Google Home says that you haven’t

Android devices minimum requirements:
• Android 5.0 and higher.
• Google App 6.13 and higher.
• Google Play Services.
• RAM 1,5 GB.
