WHY POLO IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUTH

Abstract

One of the oldest and most royal sports in the world is polo, also referred to as "the sport of
kings." It is played between two opposing teams on the backs of horses, and the objective
of the game is to score points by kicking a ball through the goal of the other team. This
study is an examination of how polo can be beneficial for youth and why is it important for
them. And the goal of this study is to understand how polo can benefit young people in a
variety of ways, including their health, social skills, confidence, leadership, and teamwork,
along with many other things. By implementing the qualitative research approach, I read
through several websites and study papers to learn about the significance of polo and then
used data from blogs, articles, studies, as well as other sources to produce this study on the
importance of polo for youth. Polo, as a team sport, develops strong communication,
teamwork, and leadership skills, in addition to the many physical benefits which including
body balance, posture, endurance, muscle strengthening, burning calories, improving
coordination, and relaxing your mind and giving you a fresh feel, according to some
studies. Polo, has the potential to be an ideal sport for families and friends, as well as
individuals desiring to network. Polo teach people about responsibility, discipline,
dedication, concentration and ethics. To summarize, Polo helps to boosts young players'
confidence, leadership and teamwork skills, enhances fitness components, hand-eye
coordination, keeps you healthier, refreshes your brain, strengthens muscles, and benefits in
a variety of other ways.
