1. What is Volleyball?

Volleyball is a team sport that is played with two teams of six players each. The objective of the
game is to send the ball over the net and to ground it on the other team's court, and to prevent
the same from the opposing team. Just like other sports, teamwork is a must and efforts should
be worked on to achieve the winning title. Volleyball is a fast paced game that requires a
combination of skill and strategy. Players must possess good reflexes, coordination, and agility,
as well as the ability to work effectively with their teammates. The game is played at all levels,
from recreational play to professional competition, and is a popular sport around the world.

2. Who invented Volleyball?

Volleyball was invented by William G. Morgan in 1895. Morgan was a physical education
instructor at the YMCA in Holyoke, Massachusetts, and he created the game as an alternative
to basketball, which he felt was too physically demanding for some of his students.

3. When was the Volleyball invented?

The name "Volleyball" was adopted in 1896, and the game quickly gained popularity. In 1947,
the International Volleyball Federation was founded, and the first World Championship was held
in 1949.

4. What is the importance of Playing Volleyball?

Volleyball is a great way to get in shape and stay active. It can help improve cardiovascular
health, strengthen muscles, and increase agility, speed, and coordination. Playing volleyball can
also help reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, and not only boost self-confidence but
