Irosin PESO Manager answers TUPAD payout delay

via Job Baeza

LEGAZPI CITY - Public Employment and Service Office manager Judith O. Baeza answers TUPAD workers
questions regarding the 'super long' waiting of their payout.

Tulong Panghanapbuhay para sa mga Displaced (TUPAD) workers recently had interactions online
regarding the long awaited compensation for their 40-day work.

"Baka naman TUPAD, (tags Facebook Page of PESO Irosin, Sorsogon), ma-pasko na hamok", Arman
Guysat wrote on his Facebook post.

According to Arman, they are now waiting for the salary to be given almost 3 months from their last day
at work, "Nakakalungkot lang kasi yung mga gusto naming bilhin, lalo na yung mga special needs naming
inaasahan namin gamit yung TUPAD (sana), eh hindi namin mabili dahil sa tagal ng sahod",he also stted.

Meanwhile Judith Baeza, PESO Manager (Irosin, Sorsogon) said on an interview that the workers are
informed about the delay of salary during the first orientation, "A lot of process is being conducted in
order to fully release their payout, and we are not the only office that is involved in giving the money",
she also added.

According to PESO Manager, she will handout first the workers Daily Track Record (DTR) and Daily
Accomplishment Report at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Province, then it will be
transferred to DOLE Regional Office along with the Accomplishment Reports and Documentation.

"An DOLE Region an nagpo-process sada intiro kaya pag nagkamali an maski saro na document sin
worker, madadamay an batch nira nan ibabalik nanaman san DOLE Region to Province down to LGU's",
Judith also added.

"Kami po naiintindihan mi man maski papano yun a process process, an saako lang sana iinform kami
san mga delay kay nano na lamang kami sige an hurulat?", said Jomar Besenio, Brgy. Liang TUPAD
worker.

PESO Office posted later that day of November 30 that they're doing their best to provide service and
they are just relying from the higher offices.
