1. You are tasked by a company with designing and assigning IP addresses for an
organizations’ new Network, which consists of 4 different buildings, each building will have
40 workstations. You are told to use the 153.20.85.46 network ID. You need to determine the
following items for the 4 buildings: (2 pts. each)
A. Subnet Mask
B. Network addresses
C. Broadcast address for each subnet
D. Valid host ids on each subnet
E. First and last address
2. Admas University wants to configure a network for the Postgraduate Directorate office
which has 105 computers, Computer Science department which has 59 computers,
Management Department which has 27 computers and Project Management department
which has 13 computers, each office is connected through four WAN links. The University
buys 193.15.14.25 Network address from ethio-telecom and you are tasked to subnet the
given IP address using VLSM, please show the necessary steps clearly? (10 pts.)
