1. What is System Software?


- The hardware and application programs on a computer are both run by a class of computer program
known as System Software. The interface between the hardware and user applications in a computer
system, conceptualized as a layered architecture, is the system software. Of all system software, the
operating system is the most well-known. All additional software on a computer is controlled by the OS.
Computer management is carried out via system software. To allow users to execute higher-level
application software to carry out specific activities, it runs in the background and keeps the computer's
fundamental operations running. System software basically acts as a foundation for running application
software.

2. What is Application Software?


- Application software is a category of computer program that carries out particular business, educational,
and personal tasks. Every program is made to help users do a range of tasks, some of which might be
connected to productivity, creativity, or communication. Applications can be created as private, open-
source, or project-based software, and they can be published independently or combined with the
computer and its operating system software. Apps are typically referred to as being for mobile devices
like phones.

3. Uses of MS Word.
- One of the most effective computer apps is probably Microsoft Word. It can be put to an almost
unlimited variety of purposes, allowing students to use it to produce their projects and assignments and
professionals to utilize it for their work texts. Depending on your demands, you can use it as well. This
means that you may use Microsoft Word to quickly and expertly produce documents with a professional
appearance in your daily life, including resumes, summaries, brochures, letters, applications, forms,
templates, business cards, calendars, reports, e-books, newsletters, and much more.
