As the pen fell far to the floor, Amy watched it hit the

linoleum. She knew she couldn't have caught that pen if Brian
threw it to her from his greasy old hands. But she picked it up
and wrote the directions to her house. She cleared her throat,
but her words still sounded hoarse.

Here is the scenario: Customer: “You were supposed to mow my yard this morning, but no one showed
up and now it’s getting dark. I’m having guests over this weekend and I really wanted my yard to look
nice! Why didn’t anyone show up? Is there anything you can do to get it done before the weekend?"
When responding you know the following: 1. They sent this message on a Thursday and no further
service times are open that day. 2. The crew didn’t show up because of a flat tire, but it’s now fixed. 3.
We can schedule the service to be completed on Friday or next Monday. 4. Please feel free to take any
actions you would like in order to create a WOW experience for the customer.

Hi, good day Mrs. Smith! I’m so sorry to hear that. Our lawn
mower actually did his best to come in the area on time but
due to some conflicts having his car on flat tire I regret to say
that he wasn’t able to do the job. But rest assured we will be
providing the service as early as tomorrow, Friday. With the
best crew we have and we will make sure that your yard will be
amazing then. And please feel free to send any request as we
will be doing the best we can. Thank you Mrs. Smith for sending
us this concern. See you on Friday. Have a good one!
