Message of Introduction
This MAPEH 10 (Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health) learning module
is made to be a practical and significant instructional material to guide the learners
who are unable to attend classes in school in times of crisis or for other reasons. It
contains an attainable process of learning with the aim of maintaining the quality of
education that meets the K to 12 Curriculum standards. This also serves as a basic
guide to the facilitators containing the learning objectives or goals, pre-tests, review
exercises, short discussion of the lesson, examples, activities, and varied exercises to
assess the learners.
We would like to think with a positive spirit that this module will inspire and ignite
the interest of the learners and apply what they have learned as they go through the
whole package. This self-learning module is desired to be an important part of the
learning process and educational growth of the students.
We present to you the product of the teamwork of educators, writers, and
illustrators. Do bear in mind that the best instructional material is the one that works
for teachers and students! We look forward to hearing from you.
One of our main purpose is for you to learn from this module, but before you
begin please remember the following:
1. Take good care of this material, do not put any unnecessary marks/writings in any
part of the module.
2. Read carefully and follow instructions given before starting any activity.
3. Follow this module in sequential order, do not skip some parts.
4. You may request your parents or any adult members in your family for help but bear
in mind to always observe honesty and integrity while performing and checking the

6. Return this module together with your answers and the expected outputs to your
teacher or facilitator.

Technology has literally taken over every aspect of life in the 21st
century, and the creative and visual arts have not been spared. In fact, for the younger
generations, art as you know is defined by technology- from its creation, to its
manipulation, to its reproduction, and even to its distribution.
In the case of today’s electronic technology that would mean recording
the image using a digital camera or a device with a built-in camera, like mobile phone,
android device, or tablet.
1. Creates artworks that can be locally assembled with local materials, guided by
21st - century techniques.
2. Explains the influence of technology in the 21st century on the evolution of
various forms of art.
3. Applies different media techniques and processes to communicate ideas,
experiences, and stories showing the characteristics of 21st century art (e.g.
the use of graphic software like photoshop, Indesign, etc.)
4. Evaluates works of art in terms of artistic concepts and ideas using criteria
appropriate for the style or form.

Review
Whether you are using a point-and-shoot camera or a DSLR, there are basic
guidelines for capturing a good quality photographic image:
1. Choose a good location. An interesting location can sometimes make the
difference between a good and a great photo.
2. Check that the available background is relatively simple and not too cluttered,
so that the focus will be on your chosen subject.
3. Natural light in the outdoors or near a window is usually the most flattering or
effective for any kind of subject. Ideally, the best light for photos is within the
first hour after sunrise and the last hour before sunset.
4. Avoid taking shots facing the light, as this would make your subject back-lit and
most of the details would be lost in shadow.
5. If you intend to take a posed shot, position your subject where you want in
relation to the location, background, and source of light.
6. If you intend to take a candid shot, position yourself where you can capture the
most interesting, amusing, touching, or engaging moment or expression.
7. Take a variety of shots—ranging from far shots showing the surroundings, to
medium-distance shots concentrating on the main subject, to tight or close-up
shots that focus on details of the subject. You can then choose from among all
these for the best photo or photos.
Video Games
Video Games is an electronic game that includes collaboration with a user
interface or info gadget -, for example, a joystick, regulator, console, or movement
detecting gadgets, to produce visual criticism for a player. This is then appeared on a
few dimensional video show gadgets, for example, a TV set, screen, touchscreen, or
computer-generated reality headset. Computer games are increased with sound
criticism from speakers or earphones, and alternatively with different sorts of input
frameworks including haptic innovation.
Digital Painting
Digital painting refers to a method utilizing a designs of programming project to
make a craftsmanship that is absolutely virtual. The canvas, brushes, paints, and

through the internet.

Procedures:
1. Using your DSLR/Digital-Point-and-Shoot Camera/ Mobile Phone/Tablet camera,
take a picture of the following: (1) Selfie (2) Family Groufie (3) Candid Shot
depicting any emotions (4) Sunrise or Sunset (5) Flower (6) Picture of oneself
promoting Covid19 awareness or health protocols.
2. Edit each of the pictures using photo editing softwares or applications. Save the
original picture as well.
3. Create a slide show showing the original picture and the edited picture using any
movie maker softwares or applications available. Apply a background music
preferably Latin-American Music/African Music/Popular Music (Second Quarter
lessons in Music). Compose a creative caption on each of the edited pictures.
4. Include an introduction with the title of your work, complete name, and grade and
section.
5. Send or submit through messenger or post on your Facebook or depending on the
choice of your MAPEH teacher.
Procedures:
1. Using your DSLR/Digital-Point-and-Shoot Camera/ Mobile Phone/Tablet camera,
take a picture of the following: (1) selfie (2) Family Groufie (3) Candid Shot
depicting any emotions (4) Sunrise or Sunset (5) Flower (6) Picture of oneself
promoting Covid19 awareness or health protocols.
2. Edit each of the pictures using photo editing softwares or applications. Save the
original picture as well.
3. Print the original photo and the edited, 3 R size (3.5” x 5”).
4. Lay-out the pictures creatively on the ½ size illustration board. Show the difference
between the original and edited pictures. Compose and write a creative caption on
each of the edited pictures
5. At the back of the illustration board, write the title of the work, complete name with
grade and section. Cover with the plastic cover.
