Consent Form 
 
Basic Information 
1. This  is  a  fully-residential  ​one-year  program  where  the  student  will  be  trained  in 
Software Engineering, Communication and Life Skills. 

2. The  student  has  to  submit  a  copy  of  ​valid  ID  proof,  age  and  residential proof ​at 
the  time  of  admission.  This  information  will  remain  confidential  until  disclosure  is 
required under applicable law or judicial process. 

3. The  expenses  for  accommodation,  meals  and  education  during  the  training  period 
in  Navgurukul  will  be  taken  care  by  Navgurukul.  The  personal  expenses  including 
medical  expenses  and  travel  for  non-NavGurukul  purposes  are  student’s 
responsibility and not Navgurukul’s.  

4. The  student  is  required  to  ​disclose  any  kind  of  permanent  disabilities,  ailments, 
diseases  or  allergies  at  the  time  of  admission  with  relevant  medical  papers  until 
disclosure is required under applicable law or judicial process. 

5. NavGurukul  will  not  provide  financial  support  for  the  student’s  accommodation in 
the job location. 

6. Training  and  residential  facilities  will  have  a  ​facility  in-charge  present  at  the 
residential center. 

7. The  student  is  required  to  adhere  to  the  rules  and  regulations  laid  down  by 
management.  In  case  of  any  kind  of  misconduct,  the  management  has  the  right  to 
terminate  the training of the student without any notice. Such a termination will be 
preceded with a show-cause notice.  

8. The  student  should  not  go  out  of  the  premises  of  NavGurukul  without  prior 
permission of the Facility incharge. 

9. Post  training  the  student  has  to  bear  his/her  own  expenses  of  all  kinds  in  the  job 
location. 

10. Post training, the student will be responsible for his/her safety and security.

Student will be provided with following: 

1. Residential facilities ​(boarding and lodging) during the duration of the course 

2. An option of opening a ​bank account ​during the course of training 

3. Students  are  encouraged  to  bring  their  own  ​laptops​. However, in case the student 

doesn’t  have  a  laptop,  the  laptop  will  be  provided  by  NavGurukul  for  the  duration 
of the course. 

4. A ​Certificate of Completion​ at the end of the training 

5. Excursion ​trips​ to give a stronger exposure to the students 

6. An  opportunity  to  interview  with  and  get  ​employment  offer  from  at  least  1 
employer within 60 days of completion of the training 

Paying Forward 
1. The  student  is encouraged to pay forward ​₹1,20,000 ​in a time period not exceeding 
2  years  ​from  the  date  of  employment  to  support  someone  else’s  education  at 
Navgurukul.  We  encourage  that  amount  is  only  payable  if  the  student  gets  a  job 
within 6 months of the course and the job pays more than ​₹15,000 ​per month. 

2. The  student  can  consider  the  following  routine  for  a  smooth  pay-forward  every 
month depending on the salary from the money earned after training.

3. If  the  student  engages  in  freelancing  projects  and  earns money during the training 
period  at  NavGurukul,  the  student  will  have  to pay ​75% of monthly earnings after 
project related expenses to NavGurukul to pay forward the principal amount. 

4. The student has to make these ​payments by the 1st of every month​.

Governing Law
This agreement and the relationship between the two parties hereto shall be governed by
and interpreted in accordance with Indian Laws. The courts at Gurgaon, India shall have
exclusive jurisdiction in relation to all matters arising out of this agreement.

Dispute Resolution
This agreement is an understanding of the fulfilment of the terms and conditions contained
herein. In the event of any differences or disputes arising out of the interpretation or
application of the provisions of this agreement, the two parties shall immediately consult
each other with a view to expeditiously resolve such differences or disputes in a spirit of
mutual understanding and cooperation. Such amicable settlement shall be done within 15
days of the first written communication of the dispute between the Parties.

Indemnity Undertaking 

In  consideration  of  being  chosen  as  a  student  of  the  NavGurukul,  I,

………………………………  hereby  undertake  and  agree  that  I  am  solely responsible for all 
my  acts  and  omissions  at  the  premises  of the NavGurukul, and in any circumstances where 
I  am  acting  as  a  student  of  the  NavGurukul. The period includes the time of the student at 
the  NavGurukul’s  campus and/or the time being spent at partners for internships and work 
experiences, and is limited to one-year from the commencement from the programme. 
 
Pursuant  to  the  same,  I  understand  and  agree  that  I  (including any of my family members, 
guardians,  representatives  or  agents)  shall  have no claim against the NavGurukul or any of 
its  officers,  agents  and/  or  employees,  in  the  event  of any loss or injury to any property or 
any  party  (including  myself),  irrespective  of  the  cause  of  loss  or  injury,  including  but  not 
limited  to  death  or  personal  injury,  incurred  prior  to,  during or post my term as student at 
the  NavGurukul.  I  also  understand  that  the  NavGurukul  shall  be  under  no  obligation  to 
make  any  payment  in  the  form  of  compensation  to  myself  or  any  of  my  family  members 
(including but not limited to any guardian, representative and/ or agent).  
 
I  hereby  undertake and agree to bind myself and/ or my family members (including but not 
limited  to  any  guardian,  representative  and/  or  agent)  to indemnify the NavGurukul in the 
event  of  any  claim  arising  against  the  NavGurukul  pursuant  to  any  act  or  omission  by 
myself, in the course of my term as student at the NavGurukul. 
 
I  hereby  confirm  that  my  participation  and  admission  as  student  at  the  NavGurukul  is  on 
my  own  volition,  and  without  any  third  party  coercion  or  persuasion  (including  but  not 
limited  to  the  NavGurukul  and/  or  its  employees,  officers  and  agents).  Pursuant  to  the 
same, I also confirm that no applicable laws or regulations have been violated in the course 
of  my  admission  to  the  NavGurukul;  or  in  the  course  of  my  interaction  with  the
