Media I.C.E Age – 2023
Deviprasad Goenka Management Collage of Media Studies (DGMC) is proud to present its
Annual Inter – Collage Festival - Media I.C.E Age and Cineyoyage 2023. Media I.C.E Age a four
day event, is celebration of the “Dynamic Youth”. It is a journey that takes you through a media
timeline that reminds everyone to create art through lenses.

Our aims to be dynamic, ever evolving to improve and go beyond the normal conventions of youth
festivals. We wish to be torch bearers in the fields of social involvement, contemporary events, and
especially through our segment of ‘Confluence’, which is a meeting point of great minds and even
greater ideas. This amalgamation of ideas, visions and culture transcends the boundaries of time,
transforming our fest into a timeless phenomenon.

To be able to transcend time, and thrive over the past years is one of the unique qualities of this
student festival and we, at Media I.C.E Age , wish to further this culture, this legacy, this work
spirit. We, the Organizing Committee, hereby invite colleges from across the world to help us make
this fest a true milestone. With improved events, engaging workshops, interesting pre-events, and
a promising experience, this year we wish to extend the ‘I.C.E Age feeling’ to each and every
participant member. We urge the participants to refer to the ‘Rules and Regulations’ for all further
details. As Devi Prasad Collage of Management and Media Studies Mumbai is on the brink of its
sesquicentennial celebrations, A Time Turner promises to be an ode to the past, a breath in the
present and a vision for the years to come.

Media I.C.E Age driven multiplex of ideas and innovations has transitioned into the digital world. It
will ignite a spark in you and bring out the ingenuity of the youth. As we traverse through Media
I.C.E Age history, we see architects of great schemes and proposals. They are neoteric and
revolutionary. Even with the distortion of parallax in their opinion, they thrive and effectuate the
atmosphere with their genius. I.C.E Age has brought together the best thinkers our generation has
to offer and if you think you are among them, Cinevoyage is where you belong. The fiery nature of
the competitiveness of events brings out the pioneer of new ideas in each student. Their
inexperience makes them idealists, their intentions help them blaze trails ahead for people to
follow. In this event you definitely get Entertainment with great knowledge and Experience.

Media I.C.E Age has chosen “LEGEND OF THE PHEONIX” as its theme in order to:

Reflect the 73-years milestone that RSET Rajasthani Sammelan Education Trust along with DGMC
Mumbai is approaching.

Gaze into the future and mull over goals that have to be made attainable and then achieved.

Challenge the Participants, Audience and Organizers to reach their full potential by being
innovative and creative. Keeping these three goals in mind, Media I.C.E Age 2023 brings to you

Target Audience & Advertising Objective

So when we are going to Promote our collage fest .It has to be both exciting and terrifying at the
same time. People have high hope for us. And we don’t want to disappoint but before that Keeping
this Points in Mind :-

 whom we are supposed to market our event?

 Is it the intra-college or Inter college event?
 Are we inviting other colleges?
 Are we inviting a non-student crowd?
 Is this going to be a technical fest or a cultural fest?
 What are the event categories?
 Do we have sponsors?
 What are the main interactions?
 What is so special about our event?
 Is it going to be a paid event or not ?

Design brochures and flex banners keeping our persona and audience in mind. Remember a 360
approach to marketing is always better. Display them at the crowded places where your targeted
audience dwells a lot like cafes or food joints. Visit other colleges and distribute your brochures and
banners. Put up big banners outside your college and at important places in the city. Use social
media pages - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Think about what will inspire our buyer
persona, Make it unique and really really cool, let it hit some of the emotions of ours buyer
persona. Make sure it goes along with the values and standards of our college.

Make use of our Collage or university’s social media and website. Start posting content about this
event from our Collage social media page. Make a separate section for the event on Collage’s
website. Get our posted on the event calendar for the Collage.

Promotion basically depends on the skills of the organisers and of course, the funds that the
college is willing to shell out. You have to visit nearby malls and other public places where the
percentage of Youth is more. Budget is very important. If college management is willing to shell
out more, we can give ads in newspapers, magazines, Radio channels etc. Online Promotions is the

most vital part of organising a fest. Post stuff which makes people go wow! Post sensible stuff!
Facebook, Twitter are your weapons! Use them effectivel. Publicity is a major component to
popularise a fest in whatever state or city . Every fest is different and every fest has its own USP
and hence audience should be targeted according to that. There are different ways to promote
fests.
