Human and Non-human learning resources/instructional materials

In this topic, I learned the difference between human learning resources and non-human
learning resources where as human learning resources it is an intangible it is a resources that
human being possess within them and it cannot be seen or even touch such as; meeting,
classes. While non-human learning resources it is a resources that can be seen and touch such
as; books, libraries, computers, etc. Also I learned the different types of instructional materials
we have 6 types and those are Non- Projected Displays, Printed and Duplicated Material,
Projected Displays, Audio Materials, Linked Audio and Still-Visual Materials, Film and Video
Materials. All these types of instructional materials can be used by teachers in creating their
lesson.

B. Technology tools for teaching TLE

In this topic, I learn what technology tools we can use in teaching. I also learned how technology
played a big part in our lives. Technology tools really help us to make our work easier especially
for teachers. Technology tool helps them to create and implement their learning in a creative
way which each student get entertained and at the same time teacher can be able to give a
quality education that every students deserve.

C. Principles and processes in developing various types of instructional materials for Social
Studies instruction

In this topic I learned the 5 principles in developing instructional materials and these are
Principle of Appropriateness, Principle of Authenticity, Principle of Cost, Principle of Interest,
Principle of Organization and Balance. I learned that in creating instructional materials we must
really follow its principles and steps for us to be able to create an effective instructional material
and appropriate for our learners. It must follows the appropriate steps and include the principles
because it is very important so that we as a teacher can develop instructional materials that is
useful and effective and will caught the attention and interest of the learners.

D. Characteristics of Good/appropriate IMs and technology tools

I’ve learn about what are the characteristics of good and appropriate instructional materials and
these are first we have to consider is the size, it should be that the materials we should use is
big enough so that every students can see it, next we have the color it is one thing that we must
consider in creating instructional materials especially if our students is elementary so that we
can caught their attention, next we have the durability when we create instructional materials it
should be durable so that we can use it several times, next we have the economy we must
consider our expenses, next is portability it should be that we can handle an carry it comfortably,
the last one is unique our instructional materials should be unique so that when students will
see it they will be curious about it.
