34 52 550 Removing and installing/replacing DSC yaw

Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

• Remove driver's seat
• Remove footwell trim panel on A-pillar on left

Raise carpet (1).

Move damping lining (2) forwards until yaw sensor (3) is
accessible.

Unfasten screws (1).

Release screws (2) on holder (3).

Important!
Vibration-sensitive component.
Implement screw connection correctly, otherwise there may
be malfunctions in the DSC.

Installation:
Tightening torque, 34 52 4AZ .

Issue status (01/2005) Valid only until next CD is issued Copyright Page - 1 -
 Tilt yaw sensor (1) upwards in direction (2) and remove in
direction (3).

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release screws (2) and remove yaw sensor from mounting.

Important!
Vibration-sensitive component.
Implement screw connection correctly, otherwise there may
be malfunctions in the DSC.

Installation:
Tightening torque, 34 52 3AZ .
