SOP FOR BATCH NUMBER PRINTING ON FILM ROLLS

Scope: Applicable for all types of packaging material i.e. for Poly Films, Labels, Cartons

Responsibility: It is the responsibility of Quality Control Head &Packing Department Head to implement this
procedure.

Procedure: Before starting the printing of Batch Code on Film Roll, Printing Operator must take approval from QC
Department, by taking a sample copy to approve the same. QC chemist must ensure that no film
roll should present on floor with previous dated batch coding. On approval of Q.C Chemist only,
roll printing should be taken up duly entering in the Register, Signed by both Operator & QC
Chemist.

The Approved sample copy should be filed by QC Department

The Batch Coding must be Printed on Poly film as below.

Net Weight Batch No, Date of Packaging, Expiry Date, Max. Retail Price Rs,. Price/Gram

Note:

 (Roll No.xx) Roll No. Stands for Identity of Serial number of a roll.

 “28” Stands for Date of Production
 “03” Stands for Month of Production
 “2022” Stands for Year of Production

Expiry Date

 “27” Stands for last date to Consume

 “09” stands for last Month to Consume
 “2022” stands for year of expiry.

Max. Retail Price.

 “Max.” Stands for maximum

 “189.00” stands for Maximum Retail Price on the date of Production.

 Note: Second Character of Batch Number

“1” Stands for Priya gold R.B.D Palmolein Oil
“2”Stands for Priya gold Refined Sunflower Oil
“3” Stands for Pyari gold Refined Vegetable Oil (Super Oleine)
“4”Stands for Surichi RBD Palmolein
“5”Stands for Priya gold Physically Refined Rice bran Oil
“6” Stands for Priya gold Ground nut Oils
