FINAL INTERVIEW INSIGHTS FOR OPTUM PSO

The final interview is the most important step in the recruitment process. For this stage, an OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR or MANAGER will
conduct the interview via Phone Call or MS Teams.

This is a step where the final interview will gauge your readiness for the role based on the following criteria:
• Being Coachable
• Managing Uncertainties
• Self-Management

BEING COACHABLE - Being coachable means being eager and open to seek and receive feedback and advice. Most people love to help others
prosper and grow, but they are hesitant to provide feedback when they do not perceive openness. Everyone needs feedback to perform better
now and to build a career for the future. Being coachable is a mindset. Coachable people know they don't know everything. The y recognize
they may have personal blind spots. They assume positive intent. They learn to assess the value of the feedback—separating the worthwhile
from the trivial. Then they act on what's worthwhile. Above all, they are appreciative of feedback to help them reach their f ull potential.

Possible discussions:
• Questions related as to how you can take new things in training, including sharing of your insights from your past trainings in a BPO
setting (if you have any)
• Understanding of the job role
• Willingness to go through intensive education and familiarization of the job
• Ability to take constructive criticism from peers and superiors

MANAGING UNCERTAINTIES - Everyone's career will take shape in an environment marked by what has been termed as VUCA (Volatile,
Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous). The career-long need is to remain productive, effective and efficient under the stress and pressure of
working in a constantly shifting environment where clarity is fleeting and uncertainty is the norm. Change is constant and the rate of change is
increasing. Staying calm and productive in the face of uncertainty includes anticipating it. It requires coping, and coping means being flexible
and adjusting.

Possible discussions:
• Ability to work under pressure (which includes doing OTs)
• Ability to stay productive whether working from home or onsite
• Ability to travel from home to your workplace
• Willingness to stay productive at work during uncertain times without reservations

SELF MANAGEMENT - Evidence from multiple sources shows that self-awareness and self-management are prime drivers of life and career
success. People who are self-aware are fully in touch with their strengths, weaknesses and untested capabilities. They align themselves to make
the best use of their strengths to maximize positive outcomes in all work and life situations. An individual has to be sufficiently aware of what
he or she can and cannot do to effectively deal with everyday work and life situations. This awareness is the cornerstone of overall well-being
and allows people to put energy toward those abilities that allow for achievement.

Possible discussions:
• Work-at-Home and Work-Onsite set-up: how to stay productive

HELPFUL TIPS:
• Relax! The interviewers will just ask questions, so calm your nerves and focus.
• Be brief and concise – check out the possible discussions and prepare
• Always end the conversation on a positive note. Remember, negative comments may lead to more questions.
• Think of your application as a product that you need to sell. You need to deliver a good sales pitch, telling the interviewer that you
are the right person for the job!
