ACTIVITY SHEET #3

Module 3-THE PHASES OF SALVATION

Name: JEHOSHAPHAT P. SABA Year: 2ND YEAR Course: BPE

Major: Date: 09/15/2022 SCORE:
Instructor: Ptr. Ruben P. Contante

SAQ # 1 - What shall we do to attain spiritual

growth or maturity? Give at least three ways. (15
pts. In Class Standing)

ASAQ:
1. Investigate your spiritual center. Exploring your spiritual core is just asking yourself
questions about who you are and what you signify. What is your identity? What is my goal?
What am I most concerned with? These questions will take you down a path where you will
think more deeply about yourself and recognize aspects of yourself that will assist you in
achieving contentment.
2. Look for underlying meanings. Searching for deeper meanings in your life and examining
recurring patterns will show you that you have power over your future. Being aware of this
might assist you in leading a happy and healthy life.
3. Get it out there. Expressing what is on your mind will assist you in remaining focused. You
may be confused and unable to make sense of your feelings after a long day or an important
event. Writing down your thoughts may help you think more clearly and move forward.

SAQ # 2 - What can we do to live a sanctified
life? Give at least three ways.
Read Romans 12:1, I Cor. 15:33
and I Cor. 6:19-20. (15 pts in Class
Standing)

ASAQ:
1. Detach from sin: In order to live a holy life, you must disconnect from sin. Sin will never die
by itself. It will not go away unless you stand up to it. You can wait from now until eternity
for sin to vanish, but it will not until you stand up to it. This is because it is hell-bent on
destroying your destiny. God did not bring sin into your life. According to His Word,
whoever is born of God does not sin because the seed of God abides in that person (I John
3:9).
2. Engage the power of the mouth: In order to live a sanctified life, you must learn to use the
power of your tongue. "The tongue has the power of death and life, and those who love it
shall eat the fruit thereof" (Proverbs 18:21). So, your mouth is a weapon of war, and when
you use the power of the tongue, you may defeat Goliath. God has no legal authority to
ratify what you do not state (Isaiah 44:26).
3. Engage Jesus' name: "The Lord's name is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and
is secure" (Proverbs 18:10). Because Jesus' name is self-anointed, it may be used to evict an
unclean demon. Active participation in spiritual stewardship: We are God's building, and
when that building is slack, it decays.

SAQ # 3. Explain this in your own words.
You may use bible verse. Man’s greatest
failure is the loss of his soul. (10 pts. In
Class Standing)

ASAQ:

In Matthew 16, Jesus wonders what good it is for a man to have everything but lose his soul (Matthew
16:26). Gaining the entire world entails receiving all the world has to offer—money, fame, pleasure,
power, reputation, and so on. Losing one's soul means dying without a good connection with Christ and
spending eternity in the lake of fire. Nothing is more important than a person's soul. To trade something
away is the height of folly. When a person chooses to live in this world rather than in paradise, he
forfeits his soul. A person's soul will be lost if he rejects Christ for the sake of anything in this world. Esau
rejected his inheritance in favor of stew; Judas sold the Savior for a few pieces of money; and Demas
preferred the current world and abandoned the ministry. All three guys felt they were gaining
something when in fact they were losing everything.
