Precision resistor

A Precision resistor is a resistor that has a very low tolerance value, so it
is very precise (closely near its nominal value). Precision resistors
refer to resistors that meet the higher standards of resistance
accuracy, temperature coefficient, load life, and long-term
stability under the same resistance technology and installation
method.
5 band and 6 band resistor color Code is generally used to indicate the
color code of Precision resistors. There are three types of precision
resistors: metal film precision resistors, wire wound precision
resistors, and metal foil precision resistors. Wire Wound Precision
resistor is made of constantan, manganin, or nichrome alloy wire wound
on a ceramic skeleton, the surface is often coated with protective paint
or glass glaze.
Precision resistors are particularly suitable for applications requiring a
high degree of accuracy of the components used. Digital multimeters, LC
meters, audio meters, altimeters, and all sort of measuring instruments
install Precision resistors who has to give the measured value of a
particular physical or electrical condition. Electronic weighing machine is
two way the object and this purpose should be must be fulfilled with the
accuracy, Precision resistor provide that accuracy in the circuit of the
weighing machine.
