My opinion about the platform ‘Grammarly’

Grammarly is an artificial intelligence-based online service for English writing

assistance. The service helps you write in English more efficiently and provides
advice on the correctness, clarity, fun and tone of the message. Grammarly is
available in several interfaces: as a web editor, desktop app, browser extension (for
Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge), iPad app, mobile
keyboards (iOS, Android) and add-on for Microsoft Office.
Grammarly uses Artificial Intelligence to analyze English text and suggest
changes to correct errors and improve quality. Service tips are grouped into 4
categories: correctness (grammatical, spelling, punctuation and other errors),
clarity (conciseness and comprehensibility), fun (vocabulary and variety), manner
of presenting information (formality, politeness, confidence. The tool offers an
intuitive real-time interface with browser extensions, a web editor, an add-in for
Microsoft Office, desktop and iPad applications, and mobile keyboards. For
businesses, Grammarly Inc. developed a corporate product to support consistent
professional communication in work teams.

What do I like about Grammarly

1. English grammar checker in real time. It's simple - you no longer waste your
time. You immediately see your mistakes (if any), as well as explanations for
them.
2. Everything is clear and as accurate as possible. You can be sure that your
typos, articles and commas will be noticed. However, you shouldn't trust any
program 100%! Yet it is a program. We highly recommend checking your text
(especially if it is long), in parts and several times. Everyone has misfires.
P.S. There is a mobile version - in the form of an additional keyboard. That
is, you can write texts in notes on your smartphone or tablet, and Grammarly
automatically checks what you have written. We highly recommend using the
full version - as practice has shown, it notices more nuances. We hope they
will work through this point in the future.
3. The most understandable explanations. If Grammarly points out a mistake
to you, it will also be sure to explain exactly what the matter is. That
is, you do not just correct your texts, but also learn and improve. And this is
great!
4. Convenient personal settings. You can add any words that you use
regularly to your personal dictionary. Then Grammarly will not swear at
brand names, slang and various abbreviations.
What I don't like about Grammarly

1. Understand and accept the fact that this is just a program. Cool though.
She cannot be trusted 100%. Be sure to additionally “go over” your
texts even after checking, break the written into pieces, upload the text
to your Grammarly account, do not even upload, but copy-paste (we do
not recommend adding a ready-made document).Grammarly is currently
running various beta tests so you can be sure they are working to
improve the quality of their service.
2. The free version is very limited. As you can see from the table above, the
free version of Grammarly is very limited. In fact, it essentially has only
one function - spelling and grammar correction. If you don't work with
text very often, then perhaps this will be enough. Switching to
Grammarly Premium will be a useful step for those who want to learn
how to write truly literate and better-quality texts.
