I am going to share with you an article I am
grateful for.
The title of the article is ‘DBS commits
additional $100,000,000 to philanthropic
cases.’ It is about DBS is setting aside
$100,000,000 to support philanthropic
causes, which will be bringing its total
commitment to more than $160,000,000
since 2014.I am grateful for this because
During this tough period, we wouldn’t know
when inflation will continue to rise.
It is good that DBS set aside so much
money to support the needy and those in
debt.
We should not always take things for
granted and not waste food as we are very

fortunate, unlike those who can only afford
one meal a day, a week, or even a month.
In 2021, DBS donated 1000 oxygen
concentrators to Indonesia, and three
cryogenic oxygen tanks and 300 oxygen
concentrators to India. Its employees also
volunteered 100,000 hours for social and
environmental causes, benefiting more than
390,000 beneficiaries in 2021.
These simple acts of kindness can go a
long way, like saving lives or impacting the
environment in a good way.
