Title: Experimental study on surface roughness and vibration of work

piece in boring of AISI1040 steels

The authors attempted to estimate surface fining and vibration by Laser Doppler
vibrometer. Following points need to be addressed before accepting for publication.

In table I chemical composition of AISI1040 has been given as range but exact (one
value ) should be given to the steel samples which are used.

Fig.2 is not clear hence better photo should be replaced.

In table 6, it has been given that Nose radius and feed rate have contributions for
surface finish as 0.7 % and 0.3 % respectively. The error contribution is given as 41.8%.
The authors are requested to justify above points.

The conclusion part need to be rewritten highlighting important finding.
