1. Imagine you have an opportunity to enjoy a holiday trip with your

favourite comic character. Create a comic strip, of 5-7 pages, narrating
your experiences of the trip.
Key points for creating a comic strip
• An eye catchy cover page.
• Dimension – 12*8
• Spiral bound.
• Four square shaped boxes or panels on each page.
• You can draw images or paste a print out of the characters.
• Brief descriptive prose.
• Dialogues should be in word- balloons/speech bubbles.
• Your comic strip should not have more than 4 characters.
Social Studies (Political Science Holiday H.W.)

1. Research ANY ONE of the topics given below and prepare an

illustrative short report (You may use power point presentation or a chart
paper)

Report Topics:-

(1) Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Occupations. (Define them, give

examples and paste pictures.)
(2) AMUL – Success Story of a Dairy Co-operative.
(3) Phulkari, Chikankari, Kantha Work, Bandhani (Bandhej), Batik Work
(choose any one)
(4) Kharif and Rabi crop
(5) Choose ANY crop and explain its farming cycle.
Tamil:

Make a chart work or model on ‘ மனம்கவரும் மாமல்லபுரம்' or ‘ பொங்கல் திருநாள்'.

Include all the relevant pictures and give details on each. 

Hindi:

1. Write 7 sentences about Indian Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) on

chart paper with picture.
2. Write 7 sentences about Christmas on A4 chart paper and draw the
picture also.
3. Write 1 to 50 Hindi counting on chart paper.

Japanese:
Complete the festivals activity as explained in class.
