Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational tasks of Operating Systems (Red Hat, AIX and Sun-Solaris) including
installation, troubleshooting, Backup & Recovery, performance tuning, monitoring using different
monitoring tools.
• Virtualize Orange infrastructure on (VMware, IBM PowerVM) to achieve capacity planning excellence for
power consumption, network & fiber switches and footprint across multiple datacenters.
• Administrating virtualized infrastructure (VMware, PowerVM and HPVM) and ensuring systems’
availability to meet Orange KPIs.
• Handling Vendor resources in new projects
• Install /update OS and configure new servers.
• Installation and configuration of Master/Media, clients and Database agents.
• Configuration of Volume Pools, Storage Units, Policies, Tape drives and Robot on.
• Troubleshooting UNIX problems as a first and second line of support.
• Install backup agent (Net. Backup) on all environment.
• Install all monitoring tools on all servers and Troubleshooting for alerts.
• Tomcat/JBOSS middleware installation and administration.

Achievements / Job Details

• Migrate a lot of environment from physical to Virtual servers and upgrade the OS, application
and database.
• Migrate Siebel system environment from AIX O.S to Redhat O.S.
• Upgrade firmware for all environments (production environment) with no impact with different type of
servers (Dell and HPE).
