My opinion on the importance of the constitution convention, is that it led to one of the

first or rather the first constitution for any nation to be written, another importance of this
convention or rather, this meeting was it was pivotal in the way not only the country is
shaped, but also how we do things like voting, and so on and so forth. Out of all of the
things established during the constitutional convention in my opinion, the most important
thing established are the checks and balances this in my pain is the most important thing
established because this is what helps keep each branch of government in check, so one
doesn’t overstep their boundaries or overstep their role as part of the government, it helps
keep that aspect of accountability as a main function. If we had kept the articles of
confederation, then we would’ve had a weaker central government with most of the power
being left up to the state governments, and would’ve been a loose confederation of
sovereign states, each state would operate independently . On top of all that there would
also not be any oversight into things that happened within each territory/state neither
would we have things that we have to do such as a national court.
