MATUGAS, This pertains to the Memorandum we received from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Caraga region dated March 18, 2021, re: RAPID SURVEY ON PERCEIVED ISSUES AND CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED BY LGUs IN PREPARATION OF THE ROLL-OUT OF THE SUPREME COURT RULING ON MANDANAS-GARCIA PETITION. ‘Anent thereto, the said office requires us to conduct this rapid survey to provide additional inputs from your end, relative to the above mentioned memorandum. To this end, several key questions were asked which requires your prompt response, to wit: 41. What are the expectations of the LGU from the NGA/ sectoral agencies when the ‘SC ruling on Mandanas- Garcia petition takes in effect? 2, What are the types of assistance being requested or needed by the LGU to the NGAs in preparation for the roll-out of the SC ruling on Mandanas- Garcia petition? 3. What issues and difficulties did the LGU encounter when it comes to NGAs coordination on the services to be devolved in FY 2022?
