PHILIP NGANGA KARIUKI'S
EULOGY
Philip was a humble, respectful, gentle, caring, and loving youngman, who
loved to be with people, family and friends.
From the first day, he was always full of smiles and love.

Philip Nganga Kariuki was born in 1987 at Mater Misericordiae Hospital in

Nairobi to the late Jayne Kariuki. He was an only child, who was such a joy to
his mother and the entire family. Jayne nurtured him through childhood, early
schooling into his teenage years. She mentored Philip on having the right
values, loving God, respecting others, working hard, and helping those in
need. Philip in life even after his mother's passing made her and the whole
family proud, by exhibiting these values daily. No one recalls ever hearing
Philip raise his voice in anger.

On attaining school age, he enroled into elementary school at Serare school,

then transferred to Musa Gitau Primary school, and finally comleted his high
school at St.Elizabeth school, Karen. Philip was blessed with the opportunity
of pursuing studies in other countries including South Africa and England.

In 2007, he suffered a medical condition that necessitated open heart surgery

to rectify, the procedure was successful, and he recovered fully. In 2015,
Philip suffered a minor cardiac event, that required him to attend further cardi-
ac therapy at a rehabilitation center for recuperation, while being monitored
by the cardiologist. Despite these setbacks, his cheer, joy and outlook on life
never waned or dimmed.

Philip loved to travel. In his lifetime he was blessed tofulfil this love for travel
by visiting the River Ganges in India, the Great pyramids in Egypt, neighbor-
ing countries and, many more. His love for people, was both local and interna-
tional.

Philips worked in various fields, and his love for cars was unquestionable. At
the time of his demise, he was in the process of venturing into the motor
industry.
Another thing he loved was spending time with his son Noel. You could tell by
the tone of his voice how proud and how much he cared for Noel by the enthu-
siasm he showed when talking about him. Philip often sent the family mem-
bers copies of Noels test scores and, report forms showing the good grades
scored.

Philip was baptized at an early age and attended church regularly.

On Wednesday 14th December 2022 Philip had been performing chores with
friends when he colapsed. He was rushed to Nairobi Hospital. However, upon
arrival the clinicians were unable to detect any signs of life and confirmed, he
had gone to be with the Lord. His unexpected demise is a tragic loss for his
son, family, friends and he will be greatly missed.

We give thanks to our Almighty God and our Heavenly for having given us
Philip for this short time. We are comforted in the knowledge that he is now
with those he loved dearly and, had gone before him starting with his beloved
mother and grandmother.

May Philip' soul rest in eternal peace.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
