Read the passage given below very carefully and answer the questions:

Dr Rajendra Prasad was a simple man. He was born on 3rd December 1884. He was our first
President. He was of the belief that it was wrong on the part of anyone to multiply his needs. His
motto was simple living and high thinking.  He was an Indian independence activist, lawyer & scholar.
A supporter of Mahatma Gandhi, Prasad was imprisoned by British authorities during the Salt
Satyagraha of 1931 and the Quit India movement of 1942. He was a great believer in industries
because he thought that they were the means to national prosperity.
