Nervous system:
It is the part of human body that transmit signals to the different parts of the
body. It consist of two different parts one is CNS central nervous system and
other is PNS peripheral nervous system. Central nervous system consist of brain
and spinal cord and peripheral nervous system consist of nerves. Nerves are the
long fibers that connect central nervous system to the different parts of the
body. Nervous system at cellular level can be defined as it consist of special
type of the cell called neurons which are also known as the nerve cells. Nerve
cells have special property to send signals to the other cells.
Disorder of the nervous system:
Alzheimer’s disease:
It is the disorder of the nervous system that progressively causes the brain to
shrink and brain cells neurons to die. It causes dementia continuously decline in
thinking behavior and social skills. It effects persons ability to work
independently. In this disorder the early sign is that man forget recent event or
conversation.
