Activity 2: Moving Forward

1.) The other cybercrimes that were not discussed in this lesson that we
students of our generation should be aware of are logic bombs, virus
dissemination, email bombing and cyber extortion. We should be aware
of these cybercrimes because it shows no signs of slowing down, and a
cyber-attack has the potential to incapacitate on organization. It also
damages computers for reasons other than profit.
2.) Yes, it was being implemented in fact there are some legal issues being
discuss in the court for intellectual property. Under Philippine law,
original intellectual creations in the literal and artistic domain are
copyrightable. Derivative works are also protected as new works,
provided that it does not affect the existing copyright on original works.
3.) As a future professional in my respective field, Information and
Communication Technology has contributed immensely to social and
economic improvements, such as higher employment and productivity,
increasing access to a higher quality of life. It can also generate
important contributions to public health, from education to
surveillance.

Additional Activities – Narrative about the success of my


petition.

I’ve made my petition last week and I chose to write the


petition about health since I’m more concern about the health status
of every individual who have the right to experience the greatness
and happiness of life. I’ve entitled my petition; “Have a happy and
healthy life.”
Right after it was published, I got only 1 signed. I understand
since it was clearly and newly posted. On my petition, I’ve explained
the importance of having productive, healthier and happier lifestyle.
I’ve stated the definition of energy management since it tackles
about ways and tips then I supposed energy is much more needed to
have. Then carrying on, there I’ve listed the 7 tips to increase your
energy and live a happier, healthier and productive life. First and
foremost, is to eat nourishing food. Of course it’s a must to eat foods
that will make us healthy and energized. Second, is to sleep at least
seven to eight hours a night. We must have an adequate sleep to be
more focus and active during the day. Third, is to keep company
with good people. As what most people said, “Good people, good
life.” Connecting with others who radiate positivity and have similar
interest will excite and energize you. Fourth, is to avoid news
overdose. Of course because sometimes the news too frequently is
bombarded with stories of suffering that will make you focus more
on your worst fears instead of recognizing what’s good that
surrounds you. The fifth one is to get a regular exercise. Exercise
relieves stress and tension, strengthens muscle and boosts your body
to work more efficiently during other physical activities. Sixth is to
do something meaningful each day. Putting effort into the things
that matter most to you utilize and reserve your energy in ways that
will bring out the best in you. And lastly, think good thoughts for
others. Judging others can cause us to place judgment on ourselves,
and that type of negative internal dialogue can be exhausting. You’ll
feel better with each step you take toward this important self-care
investment.
Those are the content of my petition. For now, I have checked
again my petition but I cannot completely say that it was successful
since it did not have more than 15 signatures. Since a successful
petition needs to have more signatures than just two-digit number.
Still I’m very much honored and grateful that I still have those. I’m
hoping someday, somehow I can manage to have those more
signatures than now. At least I’m contented that I have made such
thing in which I couldn’t imagine I could. On my part as a student I
can consider my own petition as successful though it does not expect
the standard success of a good petition, but still I’m very grateful of
the privilege.
