1. Application
This machine is the special-purpose welding equipment for making steel
wire cages for the reinforced concrete drainage pipes, it is capable to weld
the reinforcement cages with socket&spigot ends, flat ends and male&
female ends. It is one of the main equipments to manufacture reinforced
concrete pipes.
2. Working Principle
This machine includes 4 parts of driven systems: master plate of rotation,
plate of push reinforcing steel, expansion diameter part, and welding
machine. The 4 parts are drived by independent electrical motor. The Full
variable frequency control ensures that the span of the latitude steel and the
angle of the spigot won’t not change along with the welding speed.
Adjustment the ratio of motor speed can change the span of latitude steel,
and angel of spigot. This machine can weld different diameter cages via
adjustment of location and position of the master plate and welder.

This button can control the speed of motors of master plate, push reinforced
Master control of steel, expansion diameter part, welding machine, and able to make the four
rotation speed (RP0) motors work at synchronous ratio. Turn Right means speedup, Turn left means
speed down. When running the machine, and if you need to stop it halfway (out
of latitude steel, or other troubles) then you can turn left this button to the end,
this whole machine will stop running. When all trouble clearing, turn right this
button, the machine will run again. Notice that: when you press button“手动输
筋”, this button can’t be turn left to the end.
Indicator light
The indicator light shows”开机”—“输筋”—“扩径开始”—“扩径完毕”—
“输筋前位”by turns, that means this machine is running well.
SB11 When the welding machine begins running or in production, press this button
Stop to stop the welding machine running.
Setup of rotation
speed of the push There are two buttons to control the motor of Push reinforcing steel,〈1〉RP21

SB20
Shorten diameter of When the welding machine stopped, press this button SB20 to make welders to
cage by manually shorten cage diameter, its speed can be controlled by its frequency converter.
SB19
Expansion diameter When the welding machine stopped, press this button SB19 to make welders to
of cage by manually expand cage diameter, its speed can be controlled by its frequency converter.
SB21
Spot welding by The button SB21 can be used to weld the first cross of longitude and latitude
manually steel.
SB13
Make angel of spigot You can use the SB13 when the machine is welding the spigot but fails, please
by manually follow this to continue to finish the spigot. First press“开机”and press SB13
(“手动承口” ),then press and hold on “手动输筋”till the Counters show the
number of welding spots, then welding machine will go on finishing the spigot.
SB14 This button is to turn on and turn off the cooling pump. You must turn on this
Cooling pump cooling pump before you turn on the machine; otherwise it is no use to turn on
this cage machine.
SB14
Stop reposition If the plate of push reinforcing steel stop reposition, then you can press this
SB14 , to make it reposition again.
SB15
Begin reposition Press SB15 to make all Plate of Push, Expansion diameter, and welding
following part to begin reposition.
RP3
Setup rotation The button RP3 can control the motor speed of the motor of the Expansion
speed diameter part, it is also controlled by the button RP0
SB12 When get everything ready (put through and compress longitude steel, and

it at 1000 R/Min !
SB16 SB16, when the machine is out of power, this button can control the

If welding the socket type concrete pipe framework of steel reinforcement
on the HGZ hanging welder, the rotational speed and the location of limit
Firstly, put the two limit switches at the back to the ends of the slide way. According to the
drawing of framework of steel reinforcement to confirm the size of concrete pipe body. And it
works by the manual enlargement rate or manual diameter reduction, after fasten the
ventage size up, put the manual enlargement rate limit switch under the sensor chip, and
subjected to red light of the limit switch. Adjust the socket size through the operation of manual
enlargement rate button on the operation panel. After fasten up, push the enlargement rate
finished button under the sensor chip. And subjected to red light of the limit switch. Notice:
when setting the size of framework steel reinforencement, the vantages size must be subject by
diameter reduction and the large mouth type must be subject by enlargement rate.
Socket length can be according to the size of the framework drawing, put the enlargement
rate start switch to relevant position. (That is the distance from front limit switch to enlargement
start switch)
And then set the rotation speed again, (recommend the 1000r/min), then set the rotation
speed of pushing bars motor according to the size of pitch of screw of the framework
drawing.(this rotation speed can be set step by step when the machine works )
The setting of rotation speed of enlargement diameter motor is calculated by the speed of
pushing bars motor multiply by socket angle factor(please see it as operating instruction)
Routine maintenance & adjustment of automatic cage welding machine
In order to keep the machine in good condition and use it for longer time,
please kindly require your workers and operators to follow these advices for
1.The sliding parts and rotation parts of the rolling welder machine must be filling up Lubricating Oil
duly. The trademark of the lubricating oil is NO.10 plain oil.
3. The three chain tensionless on the two sides of welding station must be adjusted appropriately. If it
is too tight, it would cause damage easily. If it is too loose, then it would cause fixation section
inaccuracy to effect the whole roundness. specific techniques of the adjustment is that press the tension
chain by hand, the distance between force down and spring up is about 5-10mm.
4. The section on the back panel of the pulling bars pipe must be adjusted according to the diameter of
the welding framework of steel reinforcement. Must avoid changing diameters to produce the pulling
bar pipe ‘s pitch oversize. Then damage the pulling bar pipe.
5. The distance between the sensitive switch and sensitive pitch must be checked and adjusted
regularly. The distance of the three sensitive switched and sensitive pitch on “front and back limit” and
“enlargement beginning” must be within 5-8mm. The distance between the limit sensitive switches and
sensitive pitch on big mouth and small-mouth must be within 3-5mm. The distance between the
magnetic switch and magnetic steel used in limited welding must be within 5-8mm. And must pay
attention to the polarity of the magnetic steel in order to avoid to be not able to weld because of
inverted place. After every switches have been adjusted, it must be tightened by tap screw. No
looseness. In order to prevent the equipment damaged
6. All the fastening screws of other components must be checked regularly, no looseness of the
phenomenon, if the screws especially on the enlarge diameter reduction box and tilting fillet are not
tight, it would cause damage by malocclusion of gear wheel and rack.
7.The inside of the electric control cabinet must maintain clean, it should be proposed to use
compressed air to clear the dust one time every three months, when the two fan in the cabinet don’t
rotate, it should be repaired and replaced in time.
8.The cooling fan and cooling pump of the welding transformer should be inspected and maintain
regularly, there is no leak of the water and wind, , so as to avoid damaging the welding transformer.
according to different use circumstance, the dust and sludge on all the parts of the machine must be
clean up one time each half year.
BLG series full-automatic cage welding machine of some symptom of failure,
1. the surface of the bars have oil stain and Change the bars or
corrosion seriously. do cleanup acid
