PART 1

explain why he/she is good at communicating.

I agree with this statement because of three following reasons:
Education brings a huge of knowledge in many different fields, which could become
many topics for your communication.
Education is a dictionary. We can choose polite words, and beautiful words to
communicate with each other instead of being rude when being mad with someone. That
plays a crucial role when helping us maintain all the relationships.
Moreover, education is not only what we learn at school, or with colleagues, but also
what brings us quality relationships. We have opportunities to work with our peers,
seniors, teachers, and more. It forces us to communicate and improve this skill day by
day.
3. How do you think people at home and in the workplace improve in the area of
communication or learn the soft skill of communication?

A French cosmetics and personal-care company, has created a highly successful eau-de-
cologne for men named Physique. This is the company's best-selling perfume even if is
priced at the top end of the market. The company is now planning an international
campaign for this brand early next year. It intends a high-profile launch in countries,
which will enable the brand to achieve international recognition. You are now in a meeting
with the Marketing team of the company brainstorming about the future international
launch.

An Arab hotel group wishes to build customer loyalty by getting to know its visitors better
and encouraging them to return to its hotels. The challenges facing the hotel group at the
moment are as follows: turnover has fallen by 22%, room occupancy rate has dropped
from 81% to 62%, retention rate of guests has fallen from 25% to 8%, and recent reviews
have reduced two of the hotels' rating from four stars to three. You are members of either
the Guest Relations or Marketing Department.

To evaluate an individual level of success, we look into passion, mental toughness, constant
learning and a willingness to take risks.
Hard work is usually rewarded. Perseverance is often the difference between success and failure.
After all, if you give up, failure is guaranteed. Intelligent risk does, at times, pay off.
B: Do you know of a company, a product or a country that has been so successful? Why
do you think it is successful?

one minute to prepare your ideas.
A: Analysis of the different factors that embody an organizational culture that will
contribute to job satisfaction in the workplace.
B: Do you know of a company that is in the list of the top best companies to work for and
name some perks enjoyed by its employees?
PART 3
In this part of the test, you are given a discussion topic. You have 30 seconds to look at the
task prompt and then about three minutes to discuss the topic with your partner. After
that, the examiner will ask you more questions related to the topic.
Peter Walters, the Chief Financial Officer of a software company had a close relationship
with one of his staff, Judith Fisher, but they broke up. A few months later, Walters had to
choose someone to be promoted to be his deputy. Judith Fisher was one of three candidates.
She didn't get the job. She claims now that it was because she'd had
a personal relationship with Walters which had gone sour. According to her, this was
Walters's way of taking revenge. Judith is now threatening to take legal action against the
company. You are the HR Director meeting your HR staff to take action on this.
Discuss the situation together and decide.
-What do you think is the key problem in the company and the key person to solve and
decide on the problem and why?
I think the key problem in any companies is personel. Your personels could be in trouble with
tasks, partners, capacity, etc.
Some examples of key people that companies become overly dependent on are those who have
highly technical jobs and the creative minds behind design work.
If you only have a handful of employees who know how to operate highly specialized
equipment, these are also key personnel. Sometimes you depend on these key people because of
their skills, but other times it’s simply the information they possess that others don’t.
- What recommendations or action plans will you implement in the company to eliminate
or solve the said job satisfaction issue in the future?

PART 1

For two candidates
One of your top foreign correspondents/reporters, Harris has been reporting on events in a
country at war. To get his story, he went behind enemy lines and was kidnapped. Though
he was rescued, one of the rescue team was killed and two were seriously injured. Harris is
known to be one of the best foreign correspondents in the world. However, he has been
widely criticized in the national press because of the 'unnecessary risks' he took to get his
story. He had been advised by local officials that it was extremely unwise to go into such
hostile territory, but he ignored their warning. You are the manager of the national
newspaper Harris works for and in a meeting with the staff.
