The 4th Industrial Revolution and the Technologies that Shape our Society

Technology has given us many amenities and made our lives much more accessible than
we imagined. Technology has raised humankind's living level and brought about significant shifts
in minor and major developments. Moreover, as time passes by, our society drastically changes.
Also, this means that technological advancements continuously progress also. This transformation,
known as the industrial revolution, marks a change from manual labor to machines and
technologies. The Industrial Revolution altered people's working practices, overall access to
technologies, and frequently even living situations. Despite the fact that workers' living conditions
remained appalling, it made life more comfortable for many.

The seminar I attended, which focused on discussing the 4th industrial revolution and how
technology shaped our society, made me realize many things in life that we have now. This helped
me perceive how lucky humans lived in this time. Wherein things are already ready-made for them,
works are more accessible due to advanced technologies. Technology has a significant impact on
education, especially in making pupils more technologically literate and helpful in many ways,
such as reviewing and conducting research. The use of new online platforms, where anything is
possible with just one click, also plays a significant role in connecting people in various parts of
the world.

Overall, I learned after the seminar that technology's usage is indeed incomparable because
it not just helps people in making things easier and accessible it also facilitates resolving and
providing solutions to human issues, making human life considerably more manageable, which is
incredibly beneficial for me as a student and future nurse. And the greatest approach to utilize the
seminar's objectives is to put what I've learned into practice. Always remember that while
technology is powerful on its own, how it is used to the benefit of all people makes it far more
excellent.
