COMMON TYPE COMMON STYLE

Coming from different stations, different environment and even led with various leaders we have decided to
come up with the common leadership styles, types and power our leaders have after couple of hours of contemplating
with the group.

The common type of leaders we have REFERENT

came up was the emotional leader. We would like to adapt this kind of
POWER
leadership type as leaders in the making because we want to be in an environment with harmonious relationship with
each other. And we believe that when your working environment is harmonious you will also have peaceful mind which
may lead to successful outputs.
COMMON POWER
Moreover, the common style of leaders we have came up was the servant leader. Since we aim to share power
with others and encourage the development and growth of our colleagues. We would love to be listening to our
colleagues carefully to better understand their needs and at the same time we would be those leaders that know how to
hold ourselves and others accountable for our words and actions.

Lastly, the common power our leaders used was the referent and expert powers. As aspiring referent powered
leaders, we would love to have direct connection with our colleagues to have better employee retention. And we all
know that nobody wants to have an intimidating boss. In addition, we are inspired with the expert leaders and we would
also want to be one someday. We want to use the experiences, skills and knowledge that we have for a fruitful team to
happen. And of course, at the end of the day, when we show expertise to our work we could breed respect from our
colleagues and the people around us.
