 INTRODUCTION
The intent of this mobilization plan is to represent the general sequence on how the project will commence. This involves
the number of personnel, equipment’s, and materials. However, this plan summarizes the proposed methodology for
executing various phases of the site. This has to do with the integration of personnel, equipment’s, materials, and the use
of the site for different type of work.

1. MOBILISATION PLAN SCOPE

The Contractor will appoint and maintain a Mobilization Team for the duration of the Project according to the Project
duration. It will be made up as a minimum of:
• Project Management and Construction department to provide resource by means of technical support on engineering
and construction considerations in relation to the Contract
• the Mobilization Team will work closely with the Project Manager to effect mobilization of the Contract to:
• provide a smooth hand-over from all existing arrangements and activities leading up to the Commencement Date.
• agree a set of activities with the client for all significant events during the mobilization period.
• identify and work with activity specialists within the Contractors’ organization to ensure all appropriate policies and
procedures are put in place in a timely and complete manner to ensure compliance with all aspects of the Contract
obligations. The Contractor will provide the client with an adequate notice to existing sub-contractors where appropriate.
 1.1 MOBILISATION TEAM

The Mobilization Team will be organized by Project team .

1.1.1 Project Management

A designated Project Manager of the Mobilization Team, leading the construction of civil infrastructural facilities project
through Close of Contract, the Planning Application and Permit Application for Service Commencement Date. He will
familiar with all work streams in the project. He will undertake the day to day project management of construction.

1.1.2 Technical Team

The Technical Team will continue to be led by the Project Manager in the Project Management and Construction Group.
The Project Engineer assists the leader by working closely with the
Project Consultant and client’s representative.

1.1.3 SHE
Plan has been prepared in coordination with the SHE Department, Quality Department and Planning and Other Dust
control plan.

Upon authorization to proceed, mobilization activities will commence. The construction and set-up of the primary
support/staging area of the project will take place.

1.2 Activities within the Mobilization Plan

1.2.1 ORGANISATION CHARTS AND KEY POSITIONS

Recruitment of staff shall meet as per contract requirement as per appendix 8 Employer requirement stated. A proposed
organization chart has been attached as Annexure 1.
1.2.2 Procurement of Plant & Equipment
All procurement will be carried out in compliance with the PLANT AND EQUIPMENT accordance to the Appendix 9. The
detail mobilization Plan of Plant & Equipment’s are attached as Annexure 2

1.2.3 Project key Date

Key Project Dates will be as indicated in Work Schedule accordance to the appendix to Bid table 1 A clearly defined
programme for the mobilization will be developed in detail before starting of the project. However, the detail construction
schedule with incorporation of Contractual key date has been attached as per Annexure 3.
