In this story we are going to learn about Gru's childhood and his initiation as a little villain, so

We are in the 70s where we meet the leader of Los Savajes 6 the great Willy cobra, a legend,
he had infiltrated the middle of the jungle in search of the zodiac medallion which is stolen and
when he leaves he is chased by the guardians of the relic who try to kill him but they do not
succeed because his friends come to save him, but here the story takes an unexpected turn
and that is that his fellow villains betray him and the new leader takes the zodiac medallion
from him and throws him into the water. After this we are going to see Gru who was in
elementary school, here the children tell us that they want to be when they grow up, some
children say that they want to be doctors, others that they want to be firefighters but Gru says
that he wants to work as a Supervillain, but all they make fun of him and while all the children
are picked up by their parents, Gru is picked up by Stuart, Bob and Kevin, after this they go
super speed and then Gru and his Minions have fun doing mischief but when he returns home
he receives the mail , where there was a letter from The Wild 6, a cassette where the leader
tells him that he has just opened a new vacancy and they inform him that his interview will be
tomorrow and then this Gru decides to go to the basement, to his lair that the Minions had
built for him as thanks for agreeing to be their boss, here Gru tells them that maybe his dream
of belonging to the Savage 6, the world's greatest team of super villains, will finally come true
and tells them that he has an interview tomorrow so that he must go to rest so that everything
goes well; here we meet another Minion a little different from the others called Otto; At night
Gru goes to sleep happy because he can finally meet his favorite villains and when he finally
falls asleep Bob, Kevin and Stuart come to his bed to interrupt his sleep but we also see that on
the national villains channel the leader of the savage 6 announces that in three days when the
chinese new year begins they will use the zodiac medallion to obtain more power and finally
conquer the anti villain league and the savage 6 be the most powerful villains on the planet
and here we realize that the old Willy Cobra is still alive and breaks the television because he
cannot accept that his friends have betrayed him and taken him out of the group and swears
revenge, he recruits new henchmen but they do not respect him and only ask him if he is going
to pay them, Willy Cobra puts him in his place and tells them that first they must retrieve his
zodiac stone.

The next day Gru prepares to go to the interview but when he leaves he meets Kevin, Bobo
and Stuart who want to accompany him and although Gru does not want to remember how
once they knocked on his door to be part of his team and they did not give up, Well, that night,
despite the rain, all the Minions waited for him to be his team and from that day Gru accepted
them as his employees, but today he tells Bob, Stuart and Kevin that this interview is very
important and he can't take them, so he leaves on his bike, at that moment Otto arrives who
they leave alone singing in a tree and Bob, Stuart and Kevin go to follow Gru; we see Gru arrive
at criminal records and he rushes in arriving at a store where he mentions the secret code and
this is where we meet doctor nefario in his beginnings when he was young and worked in this
store making electronic devices and since he heard the code he leads him to a hidden elevator
where with a record player Gru activates the secret code being taken to the underground part,
here we see other villains like Gru who also want to get the vacancy in the group of the wild 6,
little Gru is very scared and just the He is the first to go to the interview where he introduces
himself quite nervously and lets them know that he has the potential to be a great villain, but
at that moment Belle Bottom tells him that a useless child like him could not be a supervillain,
but Gru says yes. since nobody will want to mess with him and just at that moment Belle
shows him the zodiac medallion and also tells him that evil is made for adults and not for
children obese like him and then another applicant arrives and activates his propellants
causing a disaster that distracts everyone, a moment that Gru takes advantage of to steal the
medallion with the pistol that Nefario gave him moments before and escapes and although he
is almost caught by one of the Salvajess 6 manages to get out but he doesn't know what to do
and Nefario tells him that he should just go out calmly and when he does we realize that Willy
Cobra was watching everything, Gru outside meets Otto, Bob, Kevin and Stuart and they
escape in his bike and while they are chased Gru gives the medallion to Otto to take him to the
lair, Gru dodges all the attacks and Belle appears to stop them but Gru activates the super
speed and they quickly escape from there and reach his lair, Gru had stolen the medallion to
show them that if he had the potential to be a Super Villain, Otto arrives and when Gru asks
him for the zodiac medallion he gives him a stone because it turns out that he dropped the
stone on the way and after several attempts when he managed to catch it he was just in front
of a children's birthday party and he fell so in love of this rock that I exchanged the zodiac
medallion for the stone to the child; Gru gets so angry that he tells the Minions that they are
not ready and that they are incapable, he takes their things and leaves telling them that when
he returns he hopes they will not be there and although Kevin tries to stop him, Gru still goes
to look for the zodiac medallion , at that moment a strange car takes Gru while Kevin sees all
this.

The next day Gru is brought before Willy Cobra, Gru is excited since he is his favorite villain but
Willy just wants him to give him the medallion but Gru only gives him the stone that Otto had
given him so they were going to throw him from the valcon if he didn't say where the
Medallion was but Gru doesn't say anything so Willy gives him a phone to call his family and
then the Minions answer, Willy tells them that if they don't deliver the Medallion in two days
they will hurt Gru for That's why the Minions start asking Otto desperately who has the Zodiac
Medallion until he finally manages to describe the subject so that another of the Minions
draws him and with this Bob Kevin, Stuart and Otto arrive at the house where the birthday was
and Kevin tells him He asks the boy where the Medallion is, to which he replies that he gave it
to his uncle because it was more like him. At the same time, the garage opens and a guy with
the Zodiac Medallion comes out, leaving on his motorcycle and Otto start chasing him tricycle,
at that moment Bob, Stuart and Kevin see a bus to San Francisco and remember that Gru is in
this place so they decide to go.

On the other hand while all this was happening in the lair of the wild 6 everyone gets ready to
go out and catch Gru. Bob, Stuart and Kevin decide to buy a ticket since they had missed the
bus, but they can't buy it since they lack money so they dress up as pilots and stewardesses to
get on the plane which they have to drive to San Francisco and after causing some problems
and almost colliding with the control tower Kevin manages to fly the plane with difficulty until
they land in San Francisco, while Willy Cobra leaves Gru tied up in a torture machine while on
the other hand Otto continues to chase the guy who has the Medallion for hours, then Bob,
Kevin and Stuart already in San Francisco manage to reach Willy Cobra's house and when
trying to infiltrate to save Gru, Willy Cobra's henchmen see them and begin to chase them to
beat them, they manage to corner them in an alley where they begin to beat them brutally and
while this was happening an acupuncturist watched the beating very calmly until she decides
to go out and hits the guys and tells them to leave, helping yes to the Minions, she goes back
to her work and the very impressed Minions follow her and beg her with a pretty face to
please teach them how to fight like that, to which she after so much insistence decides to
accept and at Gru's mother's house she had a small cupcake sale until the savages 6 arrive
destroying the house and demanding they tell them where Gru is and the Minions tell them
that a certain Willy called, they think Gru works for he and they go immediately to look for
him; Bob, Stuart and Kevin continued learning martial arts although they cannot do it the same
as their teacher and on the other hand Willy is abandoned by his henchmen since he had not
yet paid them so he decides to untie Gru from the torture machine telling him that he needs
him to I help him in some things and after saving his life Willy cobra recognizes that Gru has
the potential to be a great villain, then we return to Otto who after pedaling so much and
being super tired begins to hallucinate until the guy with the medallion appears who decides to
give it to him, Otto tells him that he will go to San Francisco so the subject offers to take him
on his motorcycle, Meanwhile the Minions continue learning martial arts and when the
teacher tells them that they are ready they leave very happy, but she he meant that they were
ready to be students not to fight.

Meanwhile Gru and old Willy Cobra infiltrate the bank to rob it, with Gru pretending to be his
grandson and here the banker shows them a picture of his vector son when he was a little boy
just like Gru, so Willy pretends he is having a heart attack and while the others try to help him
Gru uses the gun that doctor nefario gave him to take the key from the bank manager so he
manages to open the vault and tells Willy that everything is ready while Willy is being revived
with electricity until that Gru manages to help him and when they leave we discover that they
have stolen the Monalisa and they are very happy since they think they make a good team; A
little later Otto and the motorcyclist manage to reach San Francisco after a couple of hours
where the Chinese New Year was just being celebrated and at Willy Cobra's house the savage 6
had already arrived who were destroying everything as they were looking for Gru and Willy
desperately but since they can't find them they decide to leave and later when they arrive they
find everything a mess and Willy gets very upset as he feels really disappointed, after all he
was the one who taught them everything and he thought they were a team but they didn't
care and they betrayed him anyway, Gru tries to raise his spirits by telling him that he is a great
villain and that he must recover the Zodiac Medallion but Willy only replies that he is a boy and
that he should return home, Gru leaves very sad and when he gets on the tram he is taken to
where they were celebrating the Chinese New Year and when he listens to Otto he becomes
very happy, he finds him in the crowd and hugs him, there Otto gives him the Zo Medallion
diaco but at that moment the savage 6 arrive to take the Medallion from him and he is caught
and when we think that everything is over the Anti-Villains League arrives but just at that
moment the clock strikes 12 so the Zodiac Medallion is activated releasing the dragon and
giving each of the super villains powers; Belle is transformed into a large dragon while the
others are transformed into beasts and thus proceed to get rid of the anti-villain league while
Gru is left tied to the clock to die but at that moment Stuart, Bob and Kevin arrive to save him
but Belle turns them into little monsters and there Belle begins to burn the whole place but in
the middle of all this Willy arrives to confront them so the Minions also join him but they are
easily beaten and when they have little Kevin cornered he remembers the words that His
teacher said that he should find his inner beast so he concentrates and with his techniques he
manages to defeat it; Stuart and Bob do the same and manage to beat the shit out of them but
Gru was about to get ripped apart as the hands of the clock were moving apart so when Otto
notices this he goes and saves him. but on the other hand Willy tries to take the Zodiac
Medallion but the dragon realizes it and burns it leaving it lying on the floor and when all the
villains approach to finish off Gru, Stuart, Bob and Kevin launch a great scream that defeats the
savages 6 and thus they manage to recover the medallion thus removing their powers and
turning them into rats, being taken by the anti-villain league and after this the Minions return
to their normal state but Willy Cobra is taken to the hospital. then we see Gru giving a few
words at his funeral but then we realize that Willy is still alive and has secretly attended his
funeral and Gru manages to see him so he continues pretending that Willy Cobra is dead and
when he finishes he meets with him very excited and tells him that he has many things to learn
and wishes one day to be able to fake his death so he can evade justice and we end the movie
with the great Willy Cobra telling Gru to aim for the moon and they leave in his truck together
with the Minions .

But they give us a post-credits scene where we see Gru arrive at the store where Doctor
Nefario works to thank him for giving him the gun with his sticky hand and also to ask him to
work with him, to which Nefario refuses but after all make faces sad and teary-eyed he decides
to accept, after this they leave in Gru's new ship and that's how the movie finally ends.
