In today’s world we are living with different struggles and problems especially now
during pandemic. And the God’s word today reminds as to “be open” to God’s graciously power
to heal and says to hearts that are frightened by fear and disbeliefs in their selves, God comes to
save us.

We often cry out asking for God’s help without knowing that God will not give the
materials we are asking instead God will fulfill the characteristics we are lacking. I think all of us
are wondering why all these struggles and difficulties are happening. In this Sunday’s Gospel a
deaf man is have been healed to hear and speak. But not only his ears and mouth have been
opened but also his heart. And that is what the gospel wants us to realize that we need to be open.
Open our heart, cleanse our soul, and welcome God to our life. We have been challenged to be
open so we can receive the full grace from God.
