Assignment 1

1.) It is important to study the History of the Philippines as it is what will keep our culture and our
diversity alive. It is what makes us Filipinos, by giving recognition to our heroes of the past, and
remembering what our ancestors have done.
2.) The Banga Massacre, it happened when the Japanese invaded the Philippines, the Japanese
announced the kind men of Banga to attend to an event in the Plaza, where they didn’t know
that it was a fatal decision the victims have taken.
