1. Warm up
1. I have no idea about the situation of the whole country but I can tell you something I know
about the city I live in. Ho Chi Minh City eased the distance from October 1, ie 5 days ago. As a
result, parks, hair salons and some small-scale restaurants were opened. however, we still have to
have a certificate of 2 doses of the covid-19 vaccine and follow the health ministry's 5K rule to
be able to use these services.
2. This is my first year in college, and I'm looking forward to learning and growing with
everyone. My preparations have been impeded by the epidemic, and I am quite upset. I'm still
able to learn and speak with others thanks to internet engagement. I can't wait to step into my
university campus.

2. WRITING
Due to the Covid 19 epidemic, numerous eateries throughout the world are scrambling to find
alternative methods to serve their clients. As far as I am concerned, they have to deal with
several problems, which can be tackled using appropriate measures.
The outbreak of epidemics brought many dire consequences to the economy and society.
Particular attention is paid to the food service businesses that are restaurants. First, due to the
social distancing, the eateries are only sold to take away. This means the store owners have to
pay for premises without using them. If they decide to end up the contract early, paying a large
amount of compensation is inevitable. In addition, employees working in stores cannot come to
work or only a few people are allowed to work together in a certain area owing to the quarantine.
Needless to say, the reducing of productivity happen inexorably, thereby reducing store revenue.
Thirdly, some stores have to spend a certain amount of money to hire shippers to deliver items to
customers.
During this hard period, it is imperative for entrepreneurs to adapt and find the right solutions.
First, to keep the number of loyal customers, they ought to guarantee the marketing program is
justifiable, for example, regularly update new dishes on social networking sites, issue many
incentives when buying many meals. Nevertheless, marketers must research carefully before
building a communication plan. since the business has a high risk of bankruptcy if it takes on one
more debt. Of particular note is that, businesses should focus on investing in building an
effective ordering website. For some smaller ones that can't afford it, becoming a partner of
online food ordering apps should be a top priority. Being able to come up against hard time
proves that Those eateries have taken good use of the pandemic time to implement technology
advancements in order to boost sales. In term of the premises lessor, they should sympathize and
lower the rental fee because it is the most cost-effective choice for both parties during this time.
If take-away sales are prohibited in the worst-case situation, store owners should consider selling
only necessary, transportable foods. Take Bitis for instance; they are a shoe manufacturer, but
during the current outbreak in Ho Chi Minh City, they sold veggies. This not only aids them in
overcoming moments of solitude, but it also aids the state in assisting individuals. Ultimately,
health is paramount; everyone must prioritize being healthy in order to manage their business to
its full potential.
Inconclusion, although restaurants confront several challenges in order to continue in business,
delivering meals to customers, they can be solved once according measures are enlisted
imperatively.
