I. Executive Summary
MANIngaon Ta! is a peanut business began in April 05,2022 in the
participation and partial fulfillment of Senior High School Curriculum which
is the Work Immersion. The said business will be distributed in schools,
offices, Sari-sari stores, and be introduced in online platforms like Facebook
and Instagram. It is much easier to engage with customers and market products
when you can leverage the importance of social media.

II. Vision

To provide small and local businesses with opportunity for development,


contribution, and support as well as to give appreciation to our local
farmers.

III. Mission

To encourage our fellow Filipinos in engaging and supporting our local


products and goods.

IV. Background of the study

MANIngaon Ta! is a peanut business began in April 05,2022 in the


participation and partial fulfillment of Senior High School Curriculum which
is the Work Immersion. The business is located around the area of Población 4,
Igbaras Iloilo. The said product is a budget friendly to all people and each
of the products are delicately equipped with love and care by the owner
herself. MANIngaon Ta! has been sold out since the first day of operation
through the unending perseverance, hard work and enthusiasm.

V. Description of the products

The MANIngaon Ta! peanut business offers different kinds of peanut goods
since people in Igbaras are fond of eating peanuts in different occasions or
just simply snack time. Salted peanuts are the best seller and people’s
choice in all of my products. It is made of peanut itself sauté in a small
amount of oil with crispy fried garlic and salt, we also add chili flakes
depends on our customers preference or request. Later on, I add roasted and
sugar-coated peanuts in my menu to attract new customers and make them try
something different from their usual choice of peanuts. Roasted peanuts are
just plain peanuts roast in a pan but gives a savory flavor with a hint of
sweetness. On the other hand, sugar-coated peanuts are made of peanuts mixed
with sugar and a little bit of water. This type of peanut goods can be served
as a dessert.
VI. Sales and Marketing plan

MANIngaon Ta! peanut business will be distributed in schools, offices, Sari-


sari stores, and be introduced in online platforms like Facebook and
Instagram. The said business is great for parties, snack time and other
occasions.

A. Pricing

Each pouch of peanuts with 128 grams will cost Php 20.00. This
kind of pricing is enough to cover the expenses and can make an enough profit
for new business owner like me.

Each pouch is sold with cheap cost, stored in clean and cool
place, and made with healthy as well as clean ingredients.

VII. Target Market

MANIngaon Ta! targets people who owns another business like sari-sari
store, grocery store, pasalubong center and canteen. Since the business is
located within a town it is best to sell it to the individuals who works at
schools and offices as well as to people who don’t have an enough spare time
to buy a snack. In terms of the online business, I accommodate customers of
all ages who loves sweets and savory goods.

VIII. Market size

Each product is friendly budget to all customers with a price of 20


pesos per pouch. The estimated target customers for one week would be 30-50
customers with the estimated sold products of 90-100 pieces.
IX. SWOT Analysis

Strength

The business’ location is ideal for selling since it is close to
town center. It is simple for the product to generate business because it can 
be distributed in offices, schools, and other stores. 

Weakness

Weather and season are the reason why peanut business usually didn’t
work out because some of the various ingredients are seasoned, particularly
peanuts, which are only attainable throughout April. Also, Weather can also
have an impact on the business, especially when it comes to the availability
of certain ingredients.

Opportunities

The evolution of technology is one of the chances that the company may take
advantage of. It provides a wide range of services, including advertising, online
transactions, and communication. It helps the product’s publicity in the market and
in the place where the business is located. Next to this is the food trend for it
became very popular in our current situation. Since the pandemic happened many of the
online and actual stores cater local products especially the peanut delicacies.

Threats

One of the concerns to the business’ success is the competition from


the other stores and companies. There are several businesses selling the same
good as mine who is cheaper, which causes the decrease of the population of my
sales. Additionally, the cost of the ingredients and other resources used in
the product is the second factor to consider. Since the rate of inflation
keeps increasing, ingredients may rise in price as well, making it harder to
maintain the product's selling price.

X. Competition

Peanut business is not new to our town, many of my neighbors engage in


selling peanut products for it is easy to generate. A lot of stores have a
similarity with my product especially the price and goods. However, the
highlights of my business are my packaging and selling strategies. My products
are packed in a neat pouch that can assure my customers of the cleanliness and
security of my goods. Also, I offer promos such as 3 for 55 pesos and sets
that consist of different flavors of my peanut products. With this, people try
my product and can save money from buying individual goods.
