I. Brief Description of the Project

MONPADELIZA Ice Candy is committed to uniformly provide convenience and high

customer satisfaction for its customers offering new and exciting flavors at an affordable price. It

suits the tastes and cravings of people at any age and gender allowing them to have

their “sweet needs” satisfied in one single purchase. A. Innovativeness Ice candy business

in not so new in today’s market. Ice candy business is indeed a profitable business

because you can operate the business with your friends, family, and even classmates. It is a

business that would not take much of your time. Today, many businesses or

entrepreneurs make their own strategies or think new and unique ideas to lead the market. The

concept of “innovativeness” plays an important role to achieve the competitive advantage of one

business to another. Unlike other Ice Candy business concept, most of them sell usual ice candy

flavor like chocolate, strawberry, cheese, buko, etc. MONPADELIZA Ice Candy business focused

on its Nutritional unique flavors. Our business is best when it comes to customers’ taste preference

and at the same time affordable price. MONPADELIZA Ice Candy business introduces the flavors

like mango, buko pandan, and ube flavored ice candy

A. The major weakness that may count against us is the fact that Buenaventura Alandy National

High School is very hot when summers seasons to which our customers stays, there is a possibility

that the ice candy will be easily melted. Based on our ingredients, if the mango is not on the season

it may be expensive and hard to find on the market.

B. The fact that we are going to be selling in the school of BANHS provides us unlimited

opportunities to sell our product to a large number of people.

Threats

One of the major threats that we are likely going to face is other competitors. They can be

other Ice Candy store or any other flavored refreshment product


Marketing Plan

This aspect covers the market description of product, analysis of the demand

supply situation, marketing plans and objectives for both short and long term operations,

establishing company's competitive advantage and marketing strategies applicable in terms of

pricing and promotion. Marketing is the heart of every business. It can defined as a set of activities

that involves any transaction or exchange of goods, services and ideas with the main function of

satisfying customers at the same time making profit through gaining sales to achieve the

organizational objectives. Business will never exist without marketing and proper planning with

regards to the said aspects.

A.Research and Analysis

Students nowadays are finding something that they can cool them down as the weather indulged so

much. This is what the proponents have found out in their recent survey of the students’ preference

ice candy. The team was also able to found out that the school canteen in the location lacks variety of

ice candy to offer to the students. Basing also on the students’ responses, they are not already

satisfied with the food the canteen is offering. In line with this, the proponents thought of coming up

with a nutritious but affordable ice candy.


The proponents have also found out that Flavored Ice Candy have seen to be abundant in the area of

study. They are excellent source of sugar that produces energy which the students mostly need to be

able to perform all the school tasks. They also reduce the risk of heat stroke. In total, Flavored Ice

Candy is one of the dessert that everyone can be interested into.

With these facts in mind, the proponents have come up with a nutritious and affordable Flavored Ice

Candy – the ice candy which will cater the need of the students. The market will be the students of

the school, may they be stress by the heat or not; and the community as well.

Ice Candy is one of the summers treats of the Filipinos. Ice Candy consists of different flavors in

which the students will surely be attracted and satisfied. Owners choose Ice Candy to be the product

not only because of the fact that the materials are readily available but also because its salable and

affordable especially for the students that is why the owners decided to place their

business at Barangay Potol Tayabas city Quezon where Buenaventura Alandy National High

School is located. The target market of the business are the students, teachers and other

stakeholders of the school.

C. Product: Its Nature and Sustainability

Product can be defined as anything that can be offered in market for attention, acquisition,

use or consumption to satisfy needs, wants, and demands or expectations of the customer. The

business will produce one of the well-known desserts of Filipinos. Ice candy, the name of the product

will be known MONPADELIZA ice candy. Wherein, mango, buko pandan,and ube flavored ice

candy will be produced. The owners came up to this idea because the flavors are

exciting and something new for an ice candy, moreover, Filipinos love street food and healthy

foodstuffs.

D. Future Product Plan

The advocates plan to produce variety of ice candy flavors such as mango,

Buko Pandan, and ube flavor. The business also plans to generate their own ice candy stall inside the

school for the customers can find them easily without hassled.
E. Pricing Scheme

Pricing is one of the key factors, since price is the whole amount in money that is equal to

cost plus all incidental expenses paid for goods or services, MONPADELIZA Ice Candy will ensure

that the prices of our ice candies are competitive with what is obtainable amongst ice candy

business within our level. Our product, Ice Candy costs estimated 10 to 12 pesos per piece.

F. Promotional Technique

Promotion is one of the most important elements of the marketing mix, for it is the technique

of convincing or persuading the customers to buy what’s being offered. It refines to raising customer

awareness of a product or brand, generating sales, and creating brand loyalty. Since the business

is in the introductory stage, intensive promotion is a must to use.

 Flyers- Flyers are a great way to grow awareness. A flyer is a form of paper advertisement intended

for wide distribution and typically posted or distributed in a public place, handed out to individuals

or sent through the mail. MONPADELIZA Ice Candy made its own flyer intended to attract and

persuade potential customers to purchase and enjoy ice candy of varying flavors.

G. Description of the Customers

The customers of MONPADELIZA Ice Candy are people who love sweets and cold products.

The customers can be students, teachers, and other staffs of Buenaventura Alandy National High

School.
PRODUCTION PLAN

 The individual finished products will be pack in the cellophane material.

 The consumers will choose if what particular variety of fruits flavored they will buy.

 Flavored Ice Candy has varieties in terms of fruit flavor and texture using fruit as the main

ingredient.

 Operating Strategies

 Flavored Ice Candy will need raw materials to produce the goods to be sold. These include: fruits

(mango,pandan, ube, and buko), condense, matling and white sugar.

 Raw materials will be purchased at Super Market located at Lucena City.

 The proponents tried to interview the teachers and some students by offering them a free taste and

made a comment after.
